I thought of starting a favorite song thread in honor of Meatloaf, but realized it might end up being a short-ish thread as many of us like the same songs. So, include other dead singers, band members, etc.

I'll start with the latest inductee to this list:

I will start with one from my era though. George Michael. Could not just pick one so so picked 2.

This was my wedding song and sadly she is gone as well now. I love most of Nat King Cole songs. According the Spotify year review he was my most listen to artist last year.

Interesting George Michael picks. This is one of my favorites by him. It was originally sung by Bonnie Raitt (very much living. ) But, I think George was just more soulful. And it adds a different nuance when a guy sings it, I think.

That's a beautiful rendition. I'll never understand how he just didn't think much of his talent and thought his effect on fans and his fame was superficial. Frank Sinatra had to write him a letter about it. Someone, who at his legendary level and age, you would have thought had never even heard of George Michael. Sad the demons George had.
