Just thought I would share this with anyone who has been experiencing flight changes with Delta Song. We were booked for President's Week in February.
Song, however, has changed the flight schedule several times. After hearing that the pilot's were thinking of striking, I checked JetBlue and found a flight departing the same time we originally wanted at the same rate we were paying with Song. So I called Song and they said because they switched the schedule, they would just refund our money. Which they did. It already showed up as a credit on my card the very next day. Since I already had a credit on JetBlue, I only had to pay $20 more for 5 of us to fly. So the extra money I spent on Song will now be spending money!
I am still booked coming home on Song since I only paid $79 each for Feb. 25th. Jet Blue is at least $299 for this date. I know it is because every other New Englander also needs to come home. (This is the end of Feb. school vacation week.) I will just keep my eye on things and see what happens. If by some miracle JetBlue lowers a rate (which I doubt will happen for the day I need), I'll jump on it and then deal with Song.
Just wanted to let you know how reasonable and helpful Song was. They were the ones who offered the refund before I even asked.
