Hello all,

I know this is not strictly DLR related, but does anyone know how I can view or find a copy of the Song of the South movie? Ebay has listings for the European tapes, but I cannot play those. I have been searching for years without any luck. Any help appreciated. Thanks!pirate:

I don't know if it is still there but I watched it on You Tube. Just do a search for "song of the south". The version I watched came in 9 or 10 parts that were 5- 10 minutes long.

I loved watching the movie and seeing where all the SPL MT characters came from.

Another option is to do a search online and see if your DVD player can be converted to all-region ("region-free" is the way they refer to it). My husband is English and often gets DVDs as gifts for Xmas, and we simply reprogrammed our DVD player to accept European/UK DVDs. Try this site:

I know, I'm a terrible person. But doesn't it make us just as bad to abandon all those DVD gifts at his parents' house??????

I know someone who bought a pirate copy from the following website for $25 including shipping and received it within a week. I got to watch it a couple weeks ago and the quality was pretty good.

:thumbsup2 Yep I ordered the same copy. The quality wasnt too bad at all. I got the copy for my mom for Mothers Day as she LOVED that movie! Hopefully she will love it

Shhh don't tell...we downloaded it on bit torrent and quality is great.
