Song Gave Me A Heart Attack

We were scheduled to fly out of Boston on Song, Sat 12/20. When I saw the early 7:00am flight was added, we called to see if we could change. Not only did they change us but we were each given a 42.00 voucher. Great, right?
Yesterday we changed our July flights to the earlier ones and had to use 25.00/ea of those vouchers.
I was playing around on Songs website and noticed our seats on that early flight in Dec were still showing as available. hmmm??? After some more exploring on line I realized when they changed our Saturday flight, the put us on the early, 7:00 flight ON SUNDAY(12/21)!!! OMG! So we got on the phone, talked to 2 people(1 manager). Supposedly these Sat flights cost more than the Sun flights so now they wanted to charge us more. In the end they just took the 17.00/ea that we had left as vouchers and gave us the flights for whatever that ended up being.
I have to say I was happy with how they handled this. I sure hope the flight is less stressful than this morning was. My head is spinning!

Keep your eye on those seats, though. There have been many reports (my own included) of Song making changeas and not informing anyone; changed seats, schedule changes, etc. We had seat assignments 4 months in advance, checked at least twice a week, and still had trouble once we got to the airport.

I second you keeping an eye on your flights. There seems to be a great deal of adding & cancelling of flights with Song and often no notification of this. My flights were cancelled and we were bumped to other flights without notice...fortunatly I usually go in and check to see how full my flights are getting and I found that my flights were cancelled.

Thanks for the warnings. We originally were on a 7:00 flight, but that one got cancelled. I think this is why I like driving so much as opposed to flying.

I will be sure to keep checking my seats and get to the airport early in case. With 2 young kids, we need to be together....unless anyone wants to babysit.
