You may want to check the flights for December and January for a slight time change. Call and get your seats back. :flower:

Thanks for the post, AlliBri.

So I made what seems to be my weekly call to Song to get my seats back. Well, this time they won't give it back to me, and am given the story it will be assigned at the gate. I push for the reason why and am told that a certain number of seats need to be held at the gate for flight changes, ect. Well, isn't that what just happened to me :confused3 . I pressed even further and she started saying more things that just made no sense. Anyway, I was very patient, but very persistant in saying I was not comfortable going to the airport not knowing I had a seat assigned and explaining I had called many times when the flight changed (which was slightly annoying) to get my seat back and yada, yada, yada. All the time I am clicking on my "refresh" screen button on the computer. Then she says, "Keep watching your flight online 'cause sometimes they release the seats back to us and then we can give you your seat back." Low and behold, the next time I click refresh my seat (same one I've had along for both ways) are marked as assigned again. I said thank you and hung up.

Even though the CSR led me to believe that she had no control over this, she obviously did since she was able to give my seat back while I was still on the phone with her.

Looks like I to start checking my flight twice a day.

I love Song, but this is so frustrating. :earseek:
It does seem as though I need to call in as my return flight has had a schedule change and of course my seat are not assigned. I just don't understand why for a 5 min. change my seats become not assigned. :confused3
I just hope I don't loose my seats while we're in Disney for 10 days not checking our Itinerary online. :badpc:
Hopefully my reserve pixy dust will not run out. :flower:

My return flight on 12/5 into Boston was changed by 10 mins....tried calling early this morning but was on hold for about 20 minutes before I gave up and went to church. Guess I should have put in a prayer for Song since I was just on hold again for 20 minutes with no one picking up. They must be very busy with those flight changes due to Wilma. I guess I'll try later, but I want to keep my exit row seat. When I check on the 'seats avail.' site, it shows that my seat is still assigned, so I guess I should be safe. Aargghhhhh!!!

Here's what happened to me. They changed my return flight Sat 12/3 by 1 lousy minute and it said on-line I no longer had assigned seats. So tonight I called, I knew they'd be busy, like goofy4tink, I spent about 20 min on hold. Then someone not very customer friendly said that I had no seats on the plane and he couldnt help me and that was that. I paid for these tickets months ago, said he couldn't help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor, I spoke to a nice lady named Kathy who said that yes, of course I still have seats on that flight, they just don't know what seats they are.

Well, after reading your post, I checked my itinerary. I have been religously checking my flight by pulling it up as a generic flight and ASSUMING that if the times are exactly the same, I would be fine.

Anyway, I am too flying back on December 3 and according to my itinerary, our flight changed two minutes on the arrival (departure did not change) and then CHANGED BACK to the original time. So, right now it is taking off and landing at the exact same time as when I booked it which it said every time I checked it but now I have no seat assignments. Did they change the flight arrival two minutes just to kick my seat assigment out and then change it back????? :confused3

This is really getting nuts

Follow up***

I called Song this morning and they said my seat assigments never left. They just didn't get re updated in the itinerary online. So, my seats did not change.

:)
