We are flying Song airlines on Friday.

Anyone with experience? I know they have leather seats and seems a bit more leg room, but I am wondering what kind of entertainment they have in flight.... I know they are GOING to have some at seat satelite TV but it says by early 2004.. just wondering if htey have that yet, and if not, what they have to do for the kiddies if anything.

Also can I bring food on an airplane? Song charges you for food and they dont have anything most of us wille at..

Thanks in advance!

I flew them Sunday. No entertainment on my flight. I bought my own Sandwich and they did not care at all. Soft drinks and stuff like that are still free.

Bring your own food. Airlines are used to this, since they cut down on meal service. We did buy the chicken caesar salad wrap, the roast beef wrap and the chicken salad and thought they were good, especialy the chicken caesar wrap.

Depending on the staff working, you might get some humorous antics (including a drawing, where anyone who wanted could put in dollar bills with their seat # on them and the lucky winner would get the pot -- a kid won $160!) or absolutely nothing different from a usual flight -- we had both on our November flights.

There seemed to be a little more seat room, but I was really disappointed to find the arms don't lift up on the exit row seats (where we try to sit), so DH and I couldn't have a little more room.

My family and I flew Song last summer, and we loved it. We'll probably be using Song again this trip. The kids got Gameboys to use and the flight crew wasso nice and funny!

Don't know about Song, but we love JetBlue. They fly out of San Diego, Orange County and Long Beach (I noticed you're from S. Calif). Nonstop, each seat has a TV so everyone can do they're own thing. Best yet, if you have to change or cancel a flight, they only charge you a $25 fee (as opposed to the $75 -$100 others charge) and they simply bank the money for a year -- like a store credit. No, I don't work for them, but I'm happy to have found a great airline with good prices, nonstop flights and in-flight entertainment. No food, though, but that's not always a bad thing with airlines :)
