Son is mildly austitic - anyone else? Will he be freaking out the whole time?

We are taking our first family vacation - our kids are 3,5,6, and 8. Our son is mildly autistic. He may either be totally enthralled or totally freaked out - I have no idea which. He tends to be sensitive to loud noises. We are going 12/4 - 12/9, which I hope is less crowded. He will not tolerate long waits on lines (neither will I!). Anyone else have a "special needs" kid like this? How did they do? Do the folks at WDW make any accomodations for us if needed? Thank you in advance!
