Somewhere to eat in DLP tomorrow night

We need to find somewhere to eat at DLP tomorrow night. There is me, DW, DD (19) & DS (17).

I'm happy to spend around €30 each for 2 courses and a drink. We're planning to eat around 8pm before going back to the park for fantillusion (first night tomorrow) at 10pm and then Dreams.

DS only likes plain food so burger or steak needs to be on the menu.

For meat we eat at Hippo http://www.hippopotamus.fr/ at Val d'Europe. Much better choices, cuts and prices.

All veg (salad, green beans, rata, baked potatoes and chips) are unlimited as are various sauces ( pepper, bearnaise, roquefort, bbq)

They do a few set menus as well. Listed under Formules on the web site

They have English menus on site

It's one stop on the RER and costs 1,75€ a ticket if you aren't driving.

I think we'll go there. We are in an apartment in val D'Europe so it's 5 minutes walk. What time does the RER run until? I may suggest the train so I can have a couple of beers.

That's right, it's next to Pizza del Arte which is also not bad (love their goats cheese with honey, parma ham and rocket salad pizza )

Re Hippo - If you go in the week and order between 14.30-19.30 you get 30% off all mains

The RER runs until after midnight both ways.
You can see Dreams and catch one easy ... just checked from DLP you've got 23.45 - 23.59 - 00.14 - 00.19 and you are at Val d'Europe 2 minutes after

Don't forget that in France the meat is never cooked like in the UK so depending on how your like it you might have to ask them to cook it one step up.

They have good customer service for here we find and will take things back and grill further for you no bother if it is a bit raw when you get it
