I had to share the news with folks who would get my excitement! We are going to start driving for our WDW trips, and we definitely needed a road-worthy vehicle. It's a Chrysler Town and Country Touring model, and has all the bells and whistles. The power doors and stow-n-go seating are awesome, I spent an hour in the garage just playing with them, LOL.

Wheeee! Disneyworld, Here we come!!!

Whohoo!!!! :woohoo: I am totally jealous! I have a 2006 model with the stow and go and power doors and I love it!!! I bet the new ones are awesome! It is perfect for my 3 kiddos :goodvibes Have fun!!!

That's great!! I am looking at upgrading my 2002 - do you mind telling me how much yours was??

I have the 2008 T & C Touring and LOVE it! All of kids' friends and cousins think we have the "coolest" car and always pick my car to ride in :thumbsup2 Enjoy it!:goodvibes

We didn't get a brand new one. It's a 2006 T&C Touring model. But, with only 16,000 miles I feel like it's new! We paid $14,500 at Carmax. I loved the experience of shopping there, I'd reccommend them to anyone. The care is so nice and clean, when we showed it off to our family they all swore it was brank new.

Of course it is new. It new to you. We got ours used last June (2007 T&C) and love it. This June our lease is up on our Saturn and we will be looking for another one. We are also driving down in April so this should be fun. Wishing you many great trips with your family.

Wow, congrats!! I have been on here the last couple of hours searching for anyone that is driving from the Dallas area. I see that you guys are doing it :). We too, have decided to start driving mostly because of the cost of airfare. We have made multiple trips by plane, but now we will do it by car. You guys have a nice MV,and I was considering renting one for our trip :).

Question.. have you guys figured out your routes yet? I have a 6 year old and a soon to be year old in June. I know that my oldest can do it, but the little one is funny. I am getting excited about it. Moreso because we can just take our time and enjoy the ride, and you guys have a nice one :).

Congrats on the new ride.

Congrats on the new ride.

Hey there neighbor  ! Where are you in DFW, I'm in Plano. We haven't planned a route to WDW yet, but I was thinking we'd probably break it into 2 days by spending the night in Pensacola, FL. We are going to be driving from here to Atlanta this spring, that will be our first attempt at a long drive. I have no idea how it will go, we'll be driving with a 2 year old and an 8 month old, so who knows, LOL.

I definately understand ((lol)) :o). The little ones are so funny.

We are in Cedar Hill, and yes we are neighbors. Way Cool!!! :yay: I work a little more North near North Park Mall. :woohoo:

Please let me know how the trip to Atlanta goes. We were thinking of leaving at 3PM on that Saturday in June and stay in Baton Rouge, LA that night. My dh family is there, and then wake up and make the 10 hour drive from there.:headache: . We will see how that goes. We make the trip to BR frequently, but any further, I can see the issues now.

How far is it to Pensacola, FL from here? Maybe we should consider making it there before we rest and just leave here earlier.

I amd not sure where we will stay just yet. I am considering rent DVC points, or staying off property. We will see how it goes:scared: :scared: :scared:

Congratulations, we are on our forth one and had plans to buy an '08 until the economy tanked. Enjoy, they are great vehicles.

We got a new van last March, our old one had 175,000 miles. I have the 2008 Grand Caravan with bells and whistles (and leather interior). So nice for the family. We do a lot of driving - every weekend April - Oct we go to Michigan. Twins can make you crazy!

But just wanted to tell you to watch for demo models of the vans. You know - the vehicles they let the sales people drive. We bought ours with 4000 miles and saved ten grand of the sticker. Still smelled new and no dents, stains.... talk to the salesmen they can tell you if any vans are being used for demos and have them let you know. I could not believe what we saved..... and in this economy we all need all the help you can get.

Congrats, I love stow n Go, We have the Dodge Grand Caravan.. I love my van.... Well not as much as I love Disney, but pretty close..:cheer2:

I just wanted to say congrats and jump on the mini-van band wagon. We just bought our first (a Toyota Sienna) and we've joked to all of our friends that now we're really parents. But really, it's the best vehicle ever. If everyone drove one, nobody would go back to cars. :)
