Well, my degree is in English Lit. I got this job b/c I had been working for the company for about a year in another department, and knew they had an opening in the family foundation. So I asked about it, interviewed and here I am!It's very fulfilling and a lot of fun. We just had our largest fundraiser of the year last weekend, so this weekend I am planning on taking it easy at home!

Oh man, me too girl! I could definitely go for some Zebra Domes right about now! I wish there was a way to get some! LOL.
I'm with you on your parents' anniversary--I mean, how could you go to HDDR and not recognize them on the 25th!It sure looks like everyone had a good time. And your seating was great--I made our Category 2 ADR 89 days out and we were seated upstairs. The whole experience was really fun, tho'--would recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor (and whoever doesn't have one probably isn't at WDW anyway)

I just sat and read your whole TR so far! I love it!!! Your little man is so stinking cute!!!! Keep up the great updates!
I have just got caught up with your trip report and wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed it!
I'm sure I'm not the first to say how totally adorable Landon is - and so good natured too! Must be because you and your parents seem so laid back too!
The food reviews are great! I loved reading about the California Grill and all the other places you went to - it's making me hungry!!
Can't wait to read more!
Shari xx
i love your hoop de doo picturesit looks so good and like a fun place i never thought of even going there!! I think i might want to try it after your review
we changed some of our plans too -- someplaces just seem good at the time and then you get there and are like umm nope dont want to eat there LOL we did that too-- Landon looks so cute in all his pictues and it looks like he had a blast at hoop de doo
i bet all of that and the swimming tuckered him out LOL that a good idea with the bed rail too in your room!! very smart!
Your hoopdeedoo pics are great we lovedddddddddddddd it when we went in August. We lovedd it soo much that we are going to go again in January!! Except sommmeeeeeonnne who will remain nameless drank a few too many sangrias and was throwing up in a garbage can later on![]()
The two videos you posted are so cute. Sound is not needed for these, that's for sure!
I uploaded some pics of Mitchell this morning from when he was 9-10 months old. I did not have time to get them on Photobucket, however. I will get to it tomorrow morning, maybe. Hopefully tonight, but I'm taking a knitting class, believe it or not! I want to learn how to make scarves. So I probably won't have time.
It was almost painful to look back on those pictures of when he was so little. It seems like just yesterday, but it was actually 4 YEARS ago! Time flies so fast.
Have a great day! Looking forward to another update soon.
Then after that, we trekked over to Expedition Everest!! I had been so excited for this ride!! And it did not disappoint!! Im one of those people on roller coasters. You know the kind screaming with my hands in the air the whole time!! I just love it. Such a rush! Especially the going backwards!! I was sad though I didnt even see the yeti! Just the projection of his shadow or whatever. Oooooh scary. Not. Lol! Oh well!!
Then we grabbed fast passes. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted one of those cute little furry yetis but we just decided wed buy it when we came back to use the Fast Passes. So we headed over to Dinoland to ride Dinosaur!
Yay! What great updates!
I love that your mom yelled at the ostrich--that is hilarious! We didn't see the Yeti either...maybe we were sitting in the wrong part or something. Who knows. I saw it last trip. Oh--and I have to tell you. We think you're CRAZY for wanting Primevil Whirl to spin more!!!!
We didn't ride it because of how much it did spin!
I love the HDDR pics. We might look into trying it next time. Who knows. And the video of Landon at HDDR is SOOOO cute!

another great round of pics, and bottomless beer huh, might have to look into that one for our trip, juts have to convince the parents to go, they went back in the day and did not like it too much...so we will see...
Enjoying your trip report. Sorry to comment on something a few days old, but I just had to say that I recently posted the exact same thing on my trip report -- I didn't see the yeti on my first ride on Expedition Everest! I was like, "wait a second, where was the yeti?" I took a little bit of (friendly) grief over it from DISers posting in reply.
Also, the furry yeti's will make an appearance in the next installment of my TR.
Awww those videos are sooo cute!!! Landon is such a doll... he loved Hoop Dee Doo!!!!!!!
Ok guys! I need your help! I'm going to add a poll!
We decided that in November 2011, we're going to go on a cruise for Landon's 3rd birthday! (And for me because I want to!)
I want to know what you guys think sounds better...the eastern or western Caribbean cruise! Here's the different ports of call for each:
The Eastern:
St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles
St. Thomas/St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
The Western:
Key West, Florida
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Cozumel, Mexico
What do you guys think?! Let me know!
Hmmm, I like the sound of the Eastern cruise, myself. Now, is this going to be a Disney Cruise, or a regular cruise?
DISNEY!!!!
Is there really another cruise line?![]()

Hey Kimmy!
I say Eastern all the way too!! Love St. Thomas!! It's beautiful!!!![]()
Ha, ha! I should have known!
Landon will absolutely love that. So will Kimmy!![]()
Eastern all the way! Just be forewarned that the beaches on St Maarten are clothing optional. At such a young age it shouldn't be such a big deal for Landon but wanted to warn you in case you or your parents are uncomfortable with that sort of thing. Also book as soon as possible as the prices only go up!
Thanks for the warning!![]()
I'm hoping we can book asap!! I'm so excited!! You're the whole reason I just needed to finally pick one instead of just longing!
We were on an eastern itinerary and one of our ports was St Thomas so you will get to see lots of pictures from there once I get to our port days. We went to Tortola instead of St Maarten though so the nude beach warning is the extent of my knowledge on that island.
