Sorry there's no sound. My camera for some reason doesn't record sound!!

Here's those bears!

Here's Landon at Hoop-Dee-Doo!!

Well, my degree is in English Lit. I got this job b/c I had been working for the company for about a year in another department, and knew they had an opening in the family foundation. So I asked about it, interviewed and here I am! :thumbsup2 It's very fulfilling and a lot of fun. We just had our largest fundraiser of the year last weekend, so this weekend I am planning on taking it easy at home! popcorn::

Thats so awesome!! I will definitely have to look into something like that!!

Oh man, me too girl! I could definitely go for some Zebra Domes right about now! I wish there was a way to get some! LOL.

I think Allears may have a recipe for them....i know somewhere does.

I'm with you on your parents' anniversary--I mean, how could you go to HDDR and not recognize them on the 25th! :confused3 It sure looks like everyone had a good time. And your seating was great--I made our Category 2 ADR 89 days out and we were seated upstairs. The whole experience was really fun, tho'--would recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor (and whoever doesn't have one probably isn't at WDW anyway) :rotfl:

I would recommend HDD to anyone as well! I didn't think I'd like it at all, but I definitely want to go back!!

I just sat and read your whole TR so far! I love it!!! Your little man is so stinking cute!!!! Keep up the great updates!

Thank you so much! Glad you're here!!

I have just got caught up with your trip report and wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed it!

I'm sure I'm not the first to say how totally adorable Landon is - and so good natured too! Must be because you and your parents seem so laid back too!

The food reviews are great! I loved reading about the California Grill and all the other places you went to - it's making me hungry!!

Can't wait to read more!:surfweb:

Shari xx

Thanks!! I'm glad you're enjoying it!!

Landon is such a good baby!! I love him!!

I'm so glad we got to be on the Deluxe Dining Plan and try all those places!! It saved us so much money too, since it cost so much less with the free dining upgrade. I don't know if we ever want to go back without it!

i love your hoop de doo pictures:) it looks so good and like a fun place i never thought of even going there!! I think i might want to try it after your review:) we changed some of our plans too -- someplaces just seem good at the time and then you get there and are like umm nope dont want to eat there LOL we did that too-- Landon looks so cute in all his pictues and it looks like he had a blast at hoop de doo:) i bet all of that and the swimming tuckered him out LOL that a good idea with the bed rail too in your room!! very smart!

Thanks! HDD is so great!! You would love it. The food is really good too!! I'm glad you understand about all the change of plans! Its so nice to just go with the flow sometimes!! Swimming was so great...just should've gone in the day so I could get tan like you! :rotfl:

Your hoopdeedoo pics are great we lovedddddddddddddd it when we went in August. We lovedd it soo much that we are going to go again in January!! Except sommmeeeeeonnne who will remain nameless drank a few too many sangrias and was throwing up in a garbage can later on :rotfl:

Thank you!! Thats so awesome that you're going again so soon! Lucky!! Remember, the drinks are bottomless, but your stomach is not!!

The two videos you posted are so cute. Sound is not needed for these, that's for sure!

I uploaded some pics of Mitchell this morning from when he was 9-10 months old. I did not have time to get them on Photobucket, however. I will get to it tomorrow morning, maybe. Hopefully tonight, but I'm taking a knitting class, believe it or not! I want to learn how to make scarves. So I probably won't have time.

It was almost painful to look back on those pictures of when he was so little. It seems like just yesterday, but it was actually 4 YEARS ago! Time flies so fast.

Have a great day! Looking forward to another update soon.

Thanks!! Aw I would love to see those pictures!! I already can't believe how much Landon is grown and how different he looks...it blows my mind. I remember when he used to fit in his swing and all sorts of stuff like that and now he's WALKING and its just crazy...it flies by faster than I could ever imagine!! Everyone tells every pregnant woman that'll happen, but I don't think anyone could ever understand until it happens!!

I'll update soon. :goodvibes

Yay! What great updates!

I love that your mom yelled at the ostrich--that is hilarious! :rotfl: We didn't see the Yeti either...maybe we were sitting in the wrong part or something. Who knows. I saw it last trip. Oh--and I have to tell you. We think you're CRAZY for wanting Primevil Whirl to spin more!!!! :scared1: We didn't ride it because of how much it did spin! :upsidedow I love the HDDR pics. We might look into trying it next time. Who knows. And the video of Landon at HDDR is SOOOO cute! :goodvibes

another great round of pics, and bottomless beer huh, might have to look into that one for our trip, juts have to convince the parents to go, they went back in the day and did not like it too much...so we will see...

Then after that, we trekked over to Expedition Everest!! I had been so excited for this ride!! And it did not disappoint!! I’m “one of those people” on roller coasters. You know the kind…screaming with my hands in the air the whole time!! I just love it. Such a rush! Especially the going backwards!! I was sad though…I didn’t even see the yeti! Just the projection of his shadow or whatever. Oooooh scary. Not. Lol! Oh well!!

Then we grabbed fast passes. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted one of those cute little furry yeti’s but we just decided we’d buy it when we came back to use the Fast Passes. So we headed over to Dinoland to ride Dinosaur!

Enjoying your trip report. Sorry to comment on something a few days old, but I just had to say that I recently posted the exact same thing on my trip report -- I didn't see the yeti on my first ride on Expedition Everest! I was like, "wait a second, where was the yeti?" I took a little bit of (friendly) grief over it from DISers posting in reply.

Also, the furry yeti's will make an appearance in the next installment of my TR.

Awww those videos are sooo cute!!! Landon is such a doll... he loved Hoop Dee Doo!!!!!!!

My mom is funny. I wonder if we were sitting on the wrong part? I was so disappointed!!
I may be crazy for wanting it to spin more. It only spun like crazy during one little section. But I'm also a huge adrenaline junkie!! I love drops and fast spins and going upside and all that. :upsidedow
You should totally try HDDR!! I bet you guys would like it...its silly and cute and just fun!

The luau has bottomless beer too, fyi :thumbsup2

Oh no!! I can't believe you got grief for that...I can't believe that 3 of us didn't see the yeti!! Dang! Thats not cool!!

I'll have to make my way over to your tr! :goodvibes

Thanks Lynn!! He sure did love it!

Hey guys!! I'm sorry I haven't updated lately!! Life has been so crazy!! I had the best weekend though. I saw Toy Story 1&2 in 3-D, which was awesome and then my Broncos won!! It was great. I'll have an update for you tomorrow, I was just actually semi-busy at work today and also wanted to catch up on everyone's TR's!! I hope you all had a good weekend too!

Ok guys! I need your help! I'm going to add a poll!

We decided that in November 2011, we're going to go on a cruise for Landon's 3rd birthday! (And for me because I want to!)

I want to know what you guys think sounds better...the eastern or western Caribbean cruise! Here's the different ports of call for each:

The Eastern:
St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles
St. Thomas/St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands

The Western:
Key West, Florida
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Cozumel, Mexico

What do you guys think?! Let me know!

Hmmm, I like the sound of the Eastern cruise, myself. Now, is this going to be a Disney Cruise, or a regular cruise?

Eastern all the way! Just be forewarned that the beaches on St Maarten are clothing optional. At such a young age it shouldn't be such a big deal for Landon but wanted to warn you in case you or your parents are uncomfortable with that sort of thing. Also book as soon as possible as the prices only go up!

Wow everyone is voting for Eastern!! Thats sounds good to me!!

Ha, ha! I should have known!

Landon will absolutely love that. So will Kimmy! :goodvibes

Yes we wil!!

Thanks for the warning! :goodvibes
I'm hoping we can book asap!! I'm so excited!! You're the whole reason I just needed to finally pick one instead of just longing!

 We were on an eastern itinerary and one of our ports was St Thomas so you will get to see lots of pictures from there once I get to our port days. We went to Tortola instead of St Maarten though so the nude beach warning is the extent of my knowledge on that island.

Today was Hollywood Studios day!! This was the day I was most looking forward to after Magic Kingdom!! It was also our only day without a breakfast ADR!! We got there at rope drop, but I don’t have any pics of the opening show! Sorry! My parents both agreed that they would much rather wake up SUPER early for a pre-opening ADR than to be herded with everyone at rope drop!!

My dad and I move to the front of the pack and leave Grammy to do whatever with Landon. We race to ROCK N’ ROLLERCOASTER!! WOO!! But I just have to say what I hate about this queue and the TOT…you wait in line, and then everyone gets herded into a room and if you don’t know where to go, you totally lose your place in line and then just have to go wait in more lines, possibly having lost your spot to people who were behind you. They should all be like Soarin’ where if the video is part of the ride, you don’t lose your spot or anything to watch it. Okay…rant over!!
We do end up getting on the first limo of the day!!

Then we grabbed Fast Passes and walked on to Tower of Terror.
P1030327.jpg

I’m the one in the front with her hands in the air! Hehe. FAVORITE RIDE EVER!!! I love it. I want to have my wedding reception at the Tower of Terror and get pics of my wedding party on this ride. I’m obsessed with this ride. It’s so fun. At our local theme park in Denver, there’s a ride similar to this that not only lacks the awesome themeing, but just brings you up (slowly) and then drops you once. TOT is a million times better! And I love how it’s different every time!! I wish I could go on it right now!! I’m in love with this ride!!

While we did that, Grammy and Landon were busy meeting Eeyore (YAY!! Because we didn’t see him at Crystal Palace) and Donald!!
Image091.jpg

Image092.jpg

Image096.jpg

Then I met back up with them for my boys Chip and Dale! I love them! Especially after how they played peek-a-boo with Landon in Epcot!
Image106.jpg

My mom had such fun meeting them too!
Image110.jpg

Chip offered his arm first and my mom was all smitten and talking to him and didn’t see Dale had offered his and then Dale looked all sad and rejected! It was hilarious!

After that, we went to Starring Rolls bakery. I love that name…hehe. We split some cinnamon rolls and water. It was delicious. After that, we headed back towards RNRC to use our fast passes. But I, of course, needed some photopass pics with my beloved ride!
Image111.jpg

Image124.jpg

Image115.jpg

And I got some balloon ones that actually have the balloons put in!

Then my dad and I used our RNRC fast passes and I was given one of those red cards they use to determine time. Then we went back to TOT and rode it again and grabbed fast passes. I was even more excited this time! I really hyped myself up because I knew how insanely awesome it was!

On our way back, we were going to head towards where our lunch ADR was and just do whatever we wanted on the way. I wanted to take more pics! (Please note: Landon is not in this pics because we were hoping he’d fall asleep in his stroller. He didn’t. Keep that in mind.)
Image118.jpg

I should’ve gotten a jumping pic in front of TOT!! Oh well…
Image120.jpg

Then we walked over to Star Tours. My dad and I rode it and liked it. We saw the Jedi Training Academy going on and I started tearing up just thinking about when Landon is old enough to participate in stuff like that! Aw!! Then, it was already time for our ADR at Sci Fi!! And my parents were actually hungry this time because we just split cinnamon rolls!

I got this super cute picture of my parents:
P1030330.jpg

And one of the Tom and Jerry cartoon:
P1030334.jpg

And that’s all that came out. If you’re wondering, I got the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer, the burger for an entrée, and the peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert and a milkshake to drink. There are no pictures because I was trying to deal with Landon the whole time. He was either fussy in his chair or next to me and trying to grab and spill everything. I can’t blame him. I know he was tired since he decided that he could just skip his morning nap. It was just so unfortunate that this was the time he decided to do that because this had been one of the meals I had looked forward to most. I didn’t get to enjoy my food or even get a pic of the car or me in the car. I was so sad. I even left while my parents finished dessert and paid the bill.

I took him and changed him and then walked in circles (literally) in front of the building. I saw them come and shoot a scene for a girl who won an early session of AI. And I kept walking. Landon had been hanging over the side of his stroller watching his wheels turn like he always does (he loves wheels). And then he fell asleep like that! No joke, it was so cute. I could’ve sworn I got a picture but now I can’t find it! Sad day. I felt like I had been walking forever. I couldn’t take the circles any longer!! I called my parents multiple times and no answer! Where were they?! The circles were driving me nuts, I decide to just leave and my parents could find me. I walked down and around and ended up passing TSM…wait time was over an hour, fast pass return was 7…nope, not going on there this trip it looked like! I had wanted to, but I told my dad all about it and how it was the most popular ride in all of WDW and he wanted to go on the thrill rides. Then I walked down the Streets of America to circle back around to Sci-Fi. Where were my parents?! Would we find each other? Would they ever answer the phone? Hmmmm…
