Sometimes saying "thanks"...or..."nice job" goes a long way in making CM's happy....and appreciated....

I know most CM's are really dedicated in making your Disney trip a memorable and magical experience....

AND...if you are ever in the Magic Kingdom at WDW and see a tall, young, good looking fellow from Erie PA...ask him if his Mom is PrincessAriel and his Dad is Brer_Papa....if it's him...say you "met" us here and we say "HI!".....

you'll make his day!

DDIL works there too...but she is "in character"...no name tag....

I have a question you may be able to anwer.....
when a person is "in Character", are they always in the same character, or do they switch around?
And I will look out for your son next time I am in WDW. Does he work in any particular area?

and...something I learned after he kids went down to Florida.

It's based on height.

DDIL's height means she can go in character for: Rafiki...Mr Smee...the badger from Robin Hood...the ape from Tarzan that Rosie O'donnel voiced...the fairies from Sleeping Beauty...Pluto....and I can't remember the others....lol

she has been in Parades...restaurants....park appearances (with an attendant)....and she loves it!

Adding....as to switching around...when they do park appearances...they do "set" assignments....meaning....she goes out for a while...then gets a break while someone else in the same charcater goes out next...and then she goes back out while the other takes a break....

Sounds like fun.

We were looking closely at those characters last time we were there and most of them are quite short and very, very slim, so we figured most of them were girls/women.

Thanks for the info.
