to appreciate a Disney restaurant.

DH had a $25 gift certificate at Cheesecake Factory. Now how can anyone go wrong there? Before tonight I would have said you could not. I was proved wrong.
We went to the location at Mellenia Mall.
It was bad luck on my end. Dirty silverware. Sub par food. Poor service.
DH did not have the problems I had. Although his service was not good, at least it was better than mine. Not saying much. Any worse it would have been non existant.

While there I kept thinking if we were at a Disney restaurant my service would be good. If we were at a Disney restaurant my food would be good. If we were at a Disney restaurant everything would be better. :charac2: :guilty:

I wasn't pleased when I was there but did not say anything. I should have. It's one of times when the longer you are away from an unenjoyable restaurant the more you realize how bad it was. :sad2:

It will be a long time before I have a desire to return to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. And I am glad we had the gift certificate. I really would have felt ripped off.

I think I made a poor selection. (4 cheese pasta. How can you go wrong with that? :confused3 ) But the dirty silverware and poor service. ugh. I let the waiter know about the silverware. (no apology) But now the thought just turns my stomach. It wasn't not a little dirty. This was dirty and wrapped up in a clean cloth napkin. Really disgusting the more I think about it.

ugh...

I ate at San Angel Inn Friday night with friends. And Saturday night at Capn Jack's with DH. Those meals were a hundred times better.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience! There's a Cheesecake Factory right down the street from me - we eat there every few months and have never had anything but good service and good food (and clean silverware!). I think a lot has to do with individual franchise owners/managers - they can really make or break a dining experience!
