OT the cat in the picture where you are wearing a pink shirt looks exactly like my Jasmine. I never noticed that before.

Back to OP: in my case I am lucky. The computer is in DD's room next to her bed so the cats all curl up on the bed and sleep. They are happy as long as they are near me in the same room.

Mine either does the same or sometimes will lie down next to me and rest his head on one of the external hard drives because they're warm.

What I don't get is why, when I toss a magazine onto the bed, he feels the need to march right over and plant his butt on top of it. He's got the whole rest of the bed, but he feels he must sit on the magazine. (I know it's a common cat thing; I just don't get it.)

Both of my cats do the same thing. One of them really likes to plop right down on the keyboard, though. Sometimes I think it's her way of telling me to get off the computer and pat her!

Mine does that same thing too, but what's worse is she gives me a hard time about cuttin' into her computer time.

my teenie tiny black chihuahua does the same thing but she wants to rest her chin on the edge of the laptop!

We are lucky we have sweet pets.

Not when she lays on my but she looooooves the soft blanket on our bed and kneads that quite a bit.

My Maine Coon cat is sleeping right next to this laptop as I type. She's pretty harmless.

It's the calico who walks all over the keyboard and steps on the buttons on the cable tv remote who drives me nuts! She doesn't even realize the havoc she's caused as she's passed through!

Wouldn't miss the fur flying for anything!
