I've never been asked to participate in a live survey, but on our trip in Oct '02 we did get to do some cool market research.
We walked into the MK looking a little lost - I can't remember what we were looking for - and several suits approached us right in front of Town Hall and asked us to participate in evaluating a new product they were developing.
We carried this talking stuffed Mickey around the parks with us all day and he would tell us about upcoming parades, park trivia, nearby attractions, etc. I think this product has become known as My Pal Mickey!
At the end of the day at the park we sat down for about 15 minutes and answered their questions. They gave us some light refreshments at that time, Mickey baseball caps for my whole family, and 50 disney dollars. While all of that was nice, actually feeling like we were in on some Disney "secret" was really the most fun for us! No one else knew what we had or what we were doing, we really felt we were in the "in" crowd!
(My God, what a pitiful life I lead!)
