Something Very Fishy Going On....***UPDATED TODAY***

This can also happen the other way round. One year all Disney hotels were sold we could not get a room in any off the Disney hotels when we contacted Disney direct. But a travel agency had some rooms in the Santa Fee free and so we booked our stay. :banana:



Oh surely that's possible but the difference is that Disney doesn't sell you a room without telling you the price. If you book a stay before the official prices are out they tell you this and you get a phone call as son as the prices are known. Then you can accept the price and say no thank you without getting punished.
 
The TC brochure covers prices upto the end of 2008 but I was told that last Friday that they are unable to price any of the Disney Hotels for Christmas 2008 yet as they have not been released by Disney (expected to be sometime between March and May).

They did offer me one hotel but unfortunately I can't remember the name as it was offsite and I specified that we only wanted the HNY.

I had major problems with TC last year in March and only got satisfactioon after speaking to two different senior managers - you must get past the call centre level/mentality to get any decent response. I would also recommend that you definitely put something in writing to them, specifically mentioning Trading Standards.

So sorry to here the hassle you are having with TC. It might be worth writing to them to sae your phone bill and your sanity from listening to hold music! :eek: Thought this info would be of use:

ABTA set the time frames for a response. They are

14 days to acknowledge receipt of the letter
28 days to respond or reacknowledge
56 days to respond so long as a reacknowledgment has been sent out.

All letters of complaint should be sent to the Customer Relations address is
