I have 3 books that are terrific... "The Walt Disney World Trivia Book vol 1 & 2" it says on the front of the book "More secrets, history & fun facts behind the magic". AND "The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom"... All 3 are awesome, very fun to read... The last one has other places like Epcot, but I don't have that one yet.:)

The gansters in The Great Movie Ride are duplicates of the people in Pirates

Some of the pirates are also old presidents from Hall of Presidents, but I can't remember which ones.

The "hairy leg" pirate with the dirty feet hanging down... that is human hair.:crazy2:

OK, I debated as to weather or not to post this...but here goes.
Most of the Disney attractions have abbreviations:
PoC = Pirate's of the Carribbean
ToT = Tower of Terror
BTMRR = Big thunder Mnt railroad
etc
etc
Uhmmm..........
I don't think they were paying attention when they came up with the name for the newest attractions (in MK) initials.....
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor = ****??? OMG
Please don't flame me, I only found this on the WDW Cast member boards.
My mind doesn't even work that way to figure that on my own.
I will not explain what the initials stand for because it is inappropriate to type that out!

Getting out my fire extinguisher anyways...just in case

the incredible rollercoaster will be open soon and will go in the site in the carosel of progress

Whoa...are you 100% sure on this? I know we've heard of this being a possibility but I don't think it was ever confirmed. :confused3

This is saying that Ariel the show in MGM will definetly close down later this year ( or what it says)

Sorry what am i doing wrong

Um, for one, what does "later this year" mean? Plus this is the only place I've heard that... People will want to know when "later this year" starts, so they don't build up expectations for little Ariel-obsessed girls just to have them crushed when they get there.

I'm sorry if I seemed like I was picking on you, adabob! I didn't mean to seem that way at all. It's just that some people are getting confused about some of the things you are posting, I thought it would help to clarify that some are rumours, because I, like some people, thought they weren't rumours. I was freaking out when I read that they might be closing down Carousel of Progress and putting in an incredibles rollercoaster. They can't do that! That's something Walt made himself! That's like making disney world into a six flags park! Lol, anyway...

I am really sorry for seeming like I was giving you a hard time. I hope you have an awesome trip! If you like Disney trivia, I suggest you pick up a book on hidden mickeys, it's fun to look for them around the parks.

Ok...when you descend backwards in the haunted mansion into the graveyard, you are actually going 6 feet backwards. This is supposed to signify being buried 6 feet under the ground. Now, you are able to see the ghosts because you are one too! This is why the groundsman and his dog are shivering also...because they're afraid of you!
~May Queen:hippie:

WOW that is sooo cool. I never knew this and HM is one of our fav rides. So many things make sense now..Great tidbit of info--Thanks so much:thumbsup2

ADABOB:

Did you know that
4. EE is under 20 feet to keep it from having a light at the top

I expect you mean 200 feet. :)

Do you know where there is a flashing red aircraft light at WDW?

Atop Mickey's wand over Spaceship Earth. The only one on property, AFAIK.

Well... not all of us know all the little things that make life interesting so... you could IM me with the info as I don't know what it stands for and I'm 42 YO I'm sure it will be obvious once I see it but for the life of me I can't figure out what you all are talking about! I guess I'm too sheltered? :surfweb:

OK- I asked for it- Now I know! Absolutely not DISNEY related! No more im's needed-
