Something strange is happening

I will be reading a thread on one of the boards and all of a sudden the page will go away and be replaced with a page that says:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/64.159.81.84/public_html/ezsb/bar_new.php on line 9

If I use the back button I get right back to where I was. Is it something I'm doing wrong?
