I booked my AKL Kilimanjaro Club package (July 1-7) in early March - 7 days/6 nights, dining plan, park hopper/water park 7 day tickets. I just went back to the WDW website to if they still have availability (in hopes of a possible discount if they have substantial availability.)

I put in my exact dates, etc., for the package, and it came up to be almost 1000.00 more! I panicked thinking I left something out of my initial reservation and now I was going to have to cough up an additional 1000.00. I checked, and re-checked, and it's all exactly the same.

I'm now wondering if I received a discount when I booked, and just didn't realize it.

Anyone else encounter this?

Do you have a standard kilimanjaro club room or a deluxe room, that may be the difference. Also make sure the park tickets are the same, whether there are water parks included or not

Yes, everything is exactly the same - I even had my husband look at it because I was really concerned. It's a standard Kilimanjaro Club room - tickets are exactly the same - dining, etc. They either gave me a discount without my knowledge when I booked, or they've just jacked the prices up. I'm certainly not going to worry at this point because I've already paid for it all and have confirmation, and have spoken with the IPO about my requests, but I just found it very odd.

Try checking your reservation at disney online. Maybe it will give you a clue. Awesome though, lucky surprise for you that you don't owe an additional $1000!
