I've been waiting for the CAA prices on the buy one 7 day/get other half price deal - thinking that CAA members would get a better buy than through regular travel agencies.
Guess what?? It costs more through CAA!
And there even seems to be a slight variation from one province to the next. In Alberta, I just inquired and they've got a rate of $307 U.S./$153 U.S.
On a midwestern Ontario website - http://www.aaa.com/scripts/WebObjec...939jyqZl2Q55hhL67T8roYM/2.9.1.3.1.3.0.0.0.0.0
their prices are listed as $311/$155.
But the inquiries I made earlier at Sears Travel resulted in a rate quote of $295.37/$147.68
I wouldn't have been too surprised if CAA came up with the same price as Holiday House - but for it to be more is really quite disappointing. It may not look like much of a difference, but when you factor in the exchange rate and multiply it by the number of tickets to be purchased, it certainly does make a difference!
