Any ideas on something extra special I can do for my 2 yo DD? She's too young for BBB sadly, but I do have a haircut scheduled at the barber shop. She's really too young for tours...

Any suggestions?

If you "must" do something special, maybe a character meal - but ideally try to pick a slightly less crowded time (ie, not "peak" mealtime), or try the dinner at garden grove at swan hotel, b/c typically pretty quiet b/c only has goofy and pluto, and also not on dining plan b/c no swan and dolphin restaurants are part of dining plan (which also reduces crowds). Our son really liked that meal when we went at both 20 months and then at 31 months, but we were also staying at dolphin, so very convenient for us. And at 2, his favorite things at park did not require lines, reservations, etc - he LOVED the dream along with mickey stage show at cinderella castle stage, and he also really liked the mk train and he really liked the monorail. For kids that age, they also often appreciate the more mellow things, like the hedgerow "maze" (hedges less than 3 feet tall, so you can let them roam and not get lost b/c always in sight) in back of england pavilion at epcot, or even a pool day - disney resorts have amazing pools, and many people are visiting from areas where weather too cold for swimming.

I plan on doing this with my DS. By the time we get there, he's going to look like a girl though since we have had to postpone our trip.

Here's the website: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/harmony-barber-shop/

They have a first haircut package that is really neat and not expensive:yay:. Plus other haircuts for kids and adults. In the afternoons, you can sometimes hear the Dapper Dans sing a barbershop quartet. (look at tour guides to give you a better idea of when they'd be there.)

Honestly, one of the best things for toddlers requires no cost and no reservations -- playing with the lighted sidewalks at Epcot.

Little ones find these endlessly fascinating, so plan to be there after dark and set aside an hour to just sit and watch the joy. The photos will be great, too.

Everything will be special to your toddler. Something as simple as riding Dumbo will be beyond special for her. If you want something special for you to do with her, maybe a princess meal, a special princess out fit, pick a pearl, or if she is quite mature, maybe the afternoon tea at the GF or one of the Children's Spa services such as a manicure.

Went last yr w ds he had just turned 2 he loved it all lol, speaking of Epcot catching the water that jumps from place to place to place was one of his favorite things so simple but literally spent over 45 mins there! We missed Disney Jr but totally doing it this year seeing the shows he loves live on stage I'm sure will light up his lil face

This. I don't know about anyone else, but growing up I went to Walt Disney World twice. Once at 11 and once at 18. That was special enough by itself. Even if your child goes twice a year until she is in college, a trip at this age is special in and of itself.
