Something special for a 1st trip

In August, my DH's parents, brother and our 2 small nieces will be joining us at WDW. I'd like to do something special, like a cake or the Cinderella Slipper, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like something that would wow the adults, but would really be for the girls (ages 4 & 2). Any help would be appreciated.

A couple options. First would be to get a table in CALI Grille and watch WISHES from there always seems to pu a lasting impression on everyone young, and old. This may be a little fancy though for two small children.

You can always order a cakes or special dessers from the GF bakery i believe.

My best advice though is either a WISHES or ILLUMINATIONS cruises. I know you can get desserts and beverages on the board for a little extra $$. Maybe get the cake dellieved to the boat, and enjoy a night of family and fireworks.

What is the Cinderella slipper? I don't know about that?

This is a white chocolate Cinderella Slipper dessert that you can have ordered from (I believe) the Grand Floridian Bakery. I'm not 100% sure of the details, but I'm sure there if you ask in another thread, someone will be able to help you better than I. I've seen lots of pics of it here on the DIS and it is gorgeous.

Here are a few ideas:

Early morning CP reservation - before the park opens, so they can see Main St. w/ out a lot of people and you can get a great pic in front of the castle.

Coral Reef - eat here for dinner and get a customized menu and the diver. I am sure the kids would love the fish and the menu and diver would certainly be a surprise!

I second the motion about the coral reef! I just booked the diver and the personalized menu for my sons graduation and my husbands and my 21st anniversary as a surprise!! I cant wait to see their faces
