Something special for 60th birthday

Hi folks,
My family (4 adults, 1 child aged 9) are coming to Florida in oct 09. It will be our 5th trip and it's my mums 60th birthday while we are out there. We want to do something extra special and wondered if anyone had good ideas? We have done character meals and the dinner shows in the past, so we are looking for something a bit different.
We were thinking of the illuminations cruise, any other suggestions would be great.

We planned a surprise Wishes Cruise for our family on our first night at WDW. We didnt tell anyone what was going on - they finally figured it out when the other family we shared the cruise with started talking about the fireworks.

It was pure magic and set the tone for the whole trip, my father who was terminally ill talked about it continuously when we returned. Also, while we were on the cruise we got to see the Water Parade up close and personal.

We shared the cruise with a family we found on the Dis Board. IMHO you cant go wrong with the Wishes Cruise.

Can you tell me what the "water parade" is? Don't think i've ever seen that before?

I have not checked to see if they still have this yet - but it was the Light Parade on the Seven Seas Lagoon. We were up close and personal to watch it when we were on a Wishes Cruise. It was an added bonus after the fireworks display.
