Hi All!

I am planning a surprise birthday celebration for my DS 12 in July. Can you suggest anything special that we could do for him at UO. We are staying at RPR.

Thank you for your help!:p

Beats me, Mel's Diner use to do a special Birthday thing at 3pm each day for the end of 2001 and the first half of 2002 but I don't they do that any more. So that's worth looking into.

when I was there on Sunday the 5th of this month, I was looking for a restroom & wandered over to the Monsters Cafe & the side door was open exposing what appeared to be a child's birthday party with balloons & such & there was some guy standing at the door that appeared to be a US employee gaurding people from entering the door.

Yeah if you want to pay for something, you can book a birthday party at most of the resturants at both parks. I have no clue how much or what's included. I thought she meant something free.

guestservices@universalorlando.com will get you more information on booking a birthday party.

You can book a private birthday party, but it will cost $549 for up to 15 people. I remember once a family told an employee at the JPRA that it was her daughter's birthday. The daughter ended up naming the raptor that hatched in the nursery.

Circus McGurkis (sp) in Suess Landing may still be doing the daily birthday celebrations. Can anyone confirm?

:teeth: Barry, would that baby raptor happened to have been named "Erin"? Erin was also chosen to pet the Triceratops that day and our lunch at Confisco's was extra special. Confisco's had a character lunch at the time and Spider-Man along with several others sat with us for a very long time and the whole restaurant joined in with the Gypsy serenading my little one. It was a very special day, indeed.
