I have been reading a lot of negative comments lately about the down fall of WDW. Some I agree with from my last trip (Dec 2013). However its getting me a little discouraged for my up coming trip.

So I thought maybe people could post things they love or anything positive about their most recent trip!

I'll start I love the snacks all over Disney, School bread, Dole whips, Mickey bars anything from France!!! Looking for new things to try this trip too!

ETA: I agree you will always seem more negative then positive, that's the exact reason I started this thread to see some positive since people in general will post more about negative experiences, I wanted a place to post about the positive ones!

Things at the parks are still great! The new queue for Peter Pan is supposed to be amazing! Also, Festival of Fantasy is the best parade they've ever done. Enjoy the sights and have a great time!

Just relax, try not to stress out - enjoy the sights, sounds, nice weather (hopefully) and food! As in life, look for the good even if there is something not so positive.

Have a great time!

lol, here goes! I'm looking forward to my next trip, especially since I'm finally going to get to experience Flower & Garden and Pop Century.

The thing I love most right now is my Annual Pass. =)

Snacks I love - Dole Whip, Caramel Corn from Germany in Epcot, Jalapeno Pretzel in AK

Other foods - Breakfast at Kona, Whispering Canyon, Tusker House or Boma, the bread service at Sanaa, the squash soup at WPE

Rides - Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Soarin, Splash Mountain

Most favourite thing of all my trips...
my DD's act like children again. Don't get me wrong. They are great girls, but having a 13 y/o and 16 y/o in house, there are mood swings and stress over exams / social stuff, etc. Most positive thing about Disney is that we get to let loose, act like kids and bond together as a family! It's all good at Disney.

Not stressing just looking for some positivity and a little less negativity!

Don't worry about the negative things. There are a few things that could be fixed or improved or whatever but there is a good chance you won't even notice those things!

MK is still as magical as always! AK has some walls, but it also still has some beautiful animals, fun rides and great shows and the ribs we ate were amazing!! Epcot is beautiful as always. Test Track, Nemo, Spaceship Earth and Soarin are still fun to ride and the countries are beautiful, interesting and fun to explore and the food at the CS in China was really good (finally talked Dh into something not so American! LOL) DHS is great. Thrill rides, the movie ride, the characters and the atmosphere was all just Hollywood!

The characters were all magical. DD and her bff had a great time with Chip and Dale and with Tigger. DD always looks for those three as they are the most fun for her to interact with. And there were characters everywhere! Smiles on every kid's face that we saw!

My favorite thing about WDW is being there first thing in the morning. Everything (including us!) is fresh and clean and you have the whole magical day ahead of you!

To me that is the absolute best thing about Disney. It isn't the rides or attractions as much as it is about sharing the experience and just letting go and having fun with friends and family.

Thank you for starting this thread! I am planning my first trip to WDW as an adult (my last time there was 1988 - lol) and this will be my 7 year old dd's first ever trip. I am a planner, so I've been reading all of the thread here regularly, and while I have learned a ton (BOG breakfast reservation at 8am!!!), I have also become quite discouraged with all of the negative threads. I do understand the need to post about frustrations, but I am thankful to have this thread to read to keep me pumped up and excited about my trip in June. :)

im discovering the snacks as well!! i didnt realize how many amazing snacks I was missing out on!!! I cant wait to see the new line for peter pan, I also cant wait to see the progress at DTD or Disney Springs. We are eating a couple new dining places we have never been to T-Rex Restaurant at DTD, Cape May Cafe at Yaht and Beach, Le Cellier (we havent been there since they changed it to a signature) and also doing pizza night in the room one night and swimming by the pool (we stay at POFQ and the pizza is SOOOO AMAZING!!!) i know there are negative things but i cant wait to do all these things!! =)

Unfortunately you are always going to hear more bad then good. I am looking forward to upcoming solo trip. It will be the first time that I have visited in almost 4 years. I can't wait to walk down Main Street and see the castle or the animals at AK. I am looking forward to the Flower Festival at EPCOT. I can't wait and the anticipation is driving me nuts.

Don't pay attention to all of that. We had an absolute blast during our March 2014 trip. I could always choose to be picky and find some things to complain about--not worth it. It's vacation!!!!

We are here now, and I've thought many times over the last several days that there are still two things that nobody can beat Disney on - fireworks and parades.

Whether it's Wishes or Illuminations, the firework shows are as impressive as ever. And the parades blow away anything I've seen elsewhere.

My girls and I just came back from a 7 day trip. It was the best vacation I have ever had with them. (We frequent Disney usually once a year for the last 4 years). FP+ was awesome for us. I was even able to change selections the same day. We booked late this year and only had 40 days to get ready and book everything. We rode 7DMT 3 times with scheduled FPs. and was able to do all the rides we wanted in between. Some lines were crazy but we were ok b/c we had one night the park was open till 2am and we hit all those rides one after the other in the evening hours. We adored our resort and will have a hard time going anywhere else the next trip. Food was great as always. We all loved the new Frozen Sing Along at HS. (laughed a lot). Overall it was a great trip. Have an amazing time and treasure all the moments. Enjoy!

Highlights for my family were Festival of Fantasy parade, interactive experiences like Enchanted Tales with Belle and Jedi training Academy, and great character experiences where they really chat with us and not just pose for a photo.

Rapunzel's Tower in MK always makes me smile when I see it - that whole area is so pretty. And I love seeing the monorail go through Epcot - even better when I'm riding it.

And the Animation Academy in Hollywood Studios is fun - my drawings usually turn out well.

Oh, this trip was our first since the new Fantasy Land was built. My favorite part of it for the "look" was Rapunzel's Tower! It just looks like you can expect her long hair to come falling out at any time!

I agree with the previous poster...watching my teenager become a kid again and having him and his sister get along (for the most part) and just enjoy the time together as a family. I feel like this is the only place where everyone in the family has something they love about Disney and it makes it a magical vacation for us.

Also, I know there are examples of the opposite, but I love the Castmembers (most of them). We've had some magical times all due to the kindness of the Castmembers. The guy who worked at the Pirate League who has remembered my son every year and knows him by name. The wonderful lady who escorted to the main entrance in the rain with an umbrella while she played in the puddles with the kids. And sooo many more!
