Something positive to write about finally

It seems like the threads that I have started lately have all been full of negative news. So I just wanted to say thank you to Dave Parfitt and the DIS for something positive. As some of you know from my last thread, last week was a little sad for us. Our dog was hit by a car and in the end, didn't make it. So yesterday, my husband took the day off, which he never does. We went out to lunch (without the kids ), ran some errands and took the kids out of school early to get our Christmas tree. We all needed a happy day. And the topper was in my email when we got back... a message from Dave saying we were the winners of one of the copies of Epic Mickey. So again,

While Dave brings sunshine to a lot of folks, I'm just glad it was material sunshine at this time when you needed a pickup.

I saw on his most recent one that you had one, and I did a little dance inside, becasue I knew your family was definitely most deserving of a pick-me-up like that!
