Something old, something new...

...something borrowed and something blue.

I have the old (my veil), the new (my dress), and the blue (basically, my entire wedding), but I'm stuck on the borrowed

What did everyone use to fulfill the requirements?

My earrings were my borrowed. I looked for months and months and couldn't find what I was looking for. It was getting dangerously close to my wedding and I was sharing my frustration with my MOH and low and behold, she had the perfect pair!

my borrowed will be my purse. DFSIL used it for her wedding and it is really pretty and beaded and it seemed silly to buy new something I'll probably only use once.

I've heard of people using a slip as their something borrowed, or jewelry. If you know someone that has a nice brooch you could pin that onto your bouquet as your something borrowed.

Borrowed: My SIL's veil
Blue: my belly button bar!!

I also had a bracelet borrowed from my MIL, which I was wearing on my left wrist.

I had planned to borrow my sister's earrings, but on my wedding day DH gave me a pair. So thankfully I was able to borrow a handkerchief from my sister-it came in handy- LOL

While my twin was in St. Martin this past summer, she bought us both amethyst rings. They are a little different so she let me pick which one I wanted. So I too was racking my brains about my something borrowed when I came up with the idea of wearing my sister's ring. She ended up wearing my ring and I wore her's and it worked out perfectly!
