Ok, I'm going to sound like a dummy, but does it still smell good?
Of course it must, otherwise you wouldn't be wearing it...

But that must be some amazing perfume to have held up over the years. I've got a bottle that's a few years old, and it's starting to darken and change smell...

Something Old: My shoes were about a year and a half old-maybe something else?
Something New: Dress and jewelry
Something Borrowed: My crinoline (DH's sister's from 5 years before)
Something Blue: My toss garter (the real one had our undergrad mascot on it)

This was 2 years ago. I wish I had spent more time on it and really taken pictures, etc. to show what I did for each. Technically, my real garter could have counted as old...DH got it for me for Christmas 1.5 yrs before we got married. Ok, that's all for now. It's fun to find this stuff, though!

Yes it smells very good. It will remind me of my Grandma that can't be there.

Something old: my earrings and bracelet that I've had since middle school
Something new: my dress and shoes
Something borrowed: my late grandfather's handkerchief (returned it to my grandmother after the wedding)
Something blue: blue Mickey toe ring ("borrowed" the idea from KT27)

I would post a pic but they're all at home. Ah, well.

Something old: my diamond and sapphire ring that I inherited, it's over 100 years old
Something new: my bracelet and earrings
Something borrowed: my Godmother's handkerchief and a pin from my MIL (pinned under my crinoline)
Something blue: the blue bows on my garter

old - grandmother's earrings
new - gown, etc.
borrowed - aunt's earrings
blue - garter

I keep threatening my mom shes going to be my something "old":rotfl2:

Old: a handkerchief that belonged to my great grandma(family tradition)
New: my bracelet & Necklace
Borrowed: a baby pin that belonged to my grandma, pinned to my bouquet
Blue: my undies ;)
and a penny in my shoe for luck!

Something Old- a coin from the 1850's the had been in my family for years
Something New- my dress
Something Borrowed- set pearl necklace and earings that belonged to my MOH
Something Blue- garter

Something Old - ME :lmao: just kidding - my grandmothers hankerchief
Something New - Dress, jewlery
Something Borrowed and blue - a blue flower pin borrowed from my best friend pinned under my dress. Her mother pinned it under her dress on her wedding day.

Here is what I plan to do:

Something old and borrowed: I will carry my late grandfather's rosary with my bouquet, borrowed from my grandmother
Something new: my dress
Something blue: My garter has blue lace and a blue crystal mickey on it

Can anyone help me out, I have the something new part with my dress, jewellery, veil etc, but I'm struggling on the something borrowed, something old, something blue part. I could easily pick up a garter with something blue in it, I guess, a toe ring would be really nice! But I don't really have anything or any room for something old or borrowed, I already have everything. Any suggestions?

i didn't really follow the tradition of all those things, but i did do the something blue and painted my toe nails blue! i didn't have anything old or borrowed, but i did have a lot of new things! my dress, shoes, jewelry...

Here is what I have:

Something old & Borrowed: My great grandmother's hankie
Something new: My Dress and the necklace my aunt bought me
Something blue: the blue topaz bracelet that my guy bought me!

something old and borrowed - I'm thinking of wearing one of my mums rings, or maybe a broach on my bag, but my mum is no longer with us , so does this count as borrowed, as I can't give it back? maybe I'll pinch a hankie from MOH just before the ceremony!!!!
as for my blue - it's also my hidden Mickey!

I forgot that I had on blue undies, too!
