Something nice happened to me today

The company that I work for is celebrating it's 10th anniversary. Part of that anniversary celebration included celebrating long time employees. I have been with the company 19 years (we merged with another company to form this one, that's why it is more than 10 years)

I received a beautiful sapphire necklace along with an etched glass plaque for my service today!

My company gave pocket knives to their 10 yr employees last year, seemed to me you don't want people to have sharp objects at a time like that. LOL

2 other girls were honored with me. One has in 25 years the other 16! The funny part about those 2 is that they work together and have done the same job all of those years.

I have done 5 different jobs, and I also started when I was 19 years old, so for me it is strange. I have been here almost half of my life! I just turned 38 on Tues.
