Something new with Monthly Assignments

Hi All,

Life has gotten quite busy for me so I'm left with the dilemma of whether to give up the Monthly Assignment threads or to ask for help with them.

I chose the latter because I think they're fun and worthwhile, people seem to enjoy and learn from them, and so I would like to keep them going.

I'm asking for "guest authors" to help out from time to time with ideas and tutorials. The first will be JoeDif who graciously offered to help out for October, the subject being Backlighting. (Thank you, Joe!)

In thinking about this I'm actually excited about it because there is a huge wealth of skills and experience here which hopefully people will be willing to share on a one month assignment as opposed to a full committment of every month.

Please let me know if you have an idea for an assignment you're willing to share, and I may ask you directly if I see something you've posted that would be interesting to others as well.
