I agree that sounds gross. I'm not even a fan of the peanut butter and jelly that are in the same jar so I can tell you right now I would not like those slices.

These have been around for quite awhile here. In high school I went on 3 trips to Nicaragua to do humanitarian work and let me tell you, those PB slices were heaven. Would I normall ever eat them? No. But when you're in 110º heat everyday working you butt off buliding houses, schools, latrines, and medical facilities with no running water, electricity, plumbing, and form of home comforts, there was nothing like a PB sandwich at the end of the day.

Hmmm....it's very telling that the ingredient list isn't on the website. That's unheard of in this day and age. Something's fishy!

I wouldn't make these a dietary staple, but they might be fun during camping or something like that. I wish I knew what was actually in them, just out of curiosity!

If its supposed to be a convienence thing, like for traveling or camping, heck, I can buy bread, a jar of PB & grab a plastic knife at a fast food joint & make PB sandwiches in the car like no one else can. Even on a boat.

My daughter loves peanut butter but hates bread- I end up sending her to school with just a jar of peanut butter and a spoon. She would probably like those peanut butter slices!

I remember seeing those a couple of years ago. Then they were gone. Thought they were just another food flop. Wonder if it's the same company that used to make them, or if they just never really went away altogether?

they don't sell them up here in the Eastern states. Looks like over near CA etc...
I would like to try them and see if they taste like real peanut butter. I would think they would have to add gelatin or some kind of starch like flour or maybe rice flour to get them to not melt or stick to the warapper. Might not be that nutritious with all the additives.
But I could picture spreading some Hazlenut spread on it and then wrapping it around a slice of apple... Oh yum... I usually just water down my peanut butter or hazelnut spread with some honey and dip the apples, this might be less messy.

I've had one of those before. The peanut butter is the taste and consistency of the peanut butter in the peanut butter and cracker sandwich snacks.
