Something is going on at the Adventurers Club

Lou Mongello is currently twittering from the Adventurers Club (with pictures). Anyone know what's going on? Is the club reopening?

Club was rented for a private party - I think Lou Mongello is actually the organizer of the event. I recall the tickets were like 149.00 or something?

From what I understand, they rent the club out regularly for events.

Don'y know if this is true, but someone from the rumor board stated that AC and another place is opening up in 2010. Again... I don't know if this is really true.

I heard from someone who was at the AC last night and comments were made confirming the rumors that the club will be packed up and shipped to Hong Kong.

As much as I would like to see it re-open I just don't see that happening.

Looks like the original mystery was solved!

Because nobody knows the fate of the AC, I'm going to close this discussion on the restaurant board, and refer everyone over to the News and Rumors board to continue the discussion. There is a current AC discussion on this thread http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2290520
