As a mother of a little boy that travels to Disney all the time, I have one suggestion for parents in the same situation. Most of the gear is aimed at little girls. They are always princess costumes and the like no matter where you look. The one thing I always do with my son is take him to the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique and get him the Cool Dude hairstyle. I think it's something overlooked since again, it's aimed at girls. It only costs $7.50 and his hair is spiked and glitter and paint are decorated on top. He also gets a mickey head painted on the back of his head. He loves it and enjoys all the compliments he gets for the rest of the day. It's a cheap treat for him that makes him feel special all day.
I will even add the hair in this year!
. Just need to be creative in the thought process-have made him shorts and matching t-shirts-just applique Lightening or character onto plain colored Tees. Kids love that they have something special to wear for Disney World and Nana gets the hugs. Worth every minute
