My family (kids are 18,16,13) and I are always looking for something new and different to do in the World. What are some unusual things to do?

My kids are 16yo & 13yo. We try to do something "new" each trip.

Some things we've done:
MVMCP
Illuminations Celebration Cruise
La Nouba
Epcot Segway tour
Epcot's Pick-a-Pearl
Manicures at Periwig (salon at Y&BC resort)
mini golf
renting boats at Poly & CBR marinas
renting a Surrey Bike
renting waverunners at Contemporary marina
DVC/BLT tours (at one of them, we ended up purchasing )
Both waterparks - love them!!

*We do a TS meal every night, and every trip, we make it a point to try a "new" restaurant. This makes just one more thing to look forward to. This past trip last month, we dined at Via Napoli for our first time.

We've done surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon.
We've done the Bass Fishing Excursion.
We did the Richard Petty Driving thing!

Geez, no wonder I'm pennyless!

My boys are 13 and 15 and we try something different as well. Last year we did the fishing excursion, this year we're trying the surf lessons. I would love to hear what others thought about surfing lessons. So far, my boys haven't been bored, but the 15 year old is rapidly reaching the age that hanging by the pool is the preferred thing anyway!

My son and his best friend (both 13 at the time) did the surf lessons last year. You have to be a strong swimmer, which my son is, so he really enjoyed it, his friend not so much!

and you are right about hanging out at the pool, this year after middle school graduation I took DS(now 14 1/2) with 5 of his buddies to Disney for 4 days and they loved hanging out by the quiet pool everyday and even at night (making it a not so quiet pool). They couldnt' do the waterparks this year because my son broke his nose 2 days after school ended!

Putt-Putt
Take a bike ride around the campgrounds.
Catch a movie by the lake at BCV.
Catch the fire works at Poly for MK or over at the BWV for both EPCOT and MGM.

Arranged for a treasure hunt through the MK with the company, Gifts of a Lifetime. Best WDW experience ever.
