Ok all, I am going to post this about a wonderful place I discovered this weekend. Its in Polk County where I live and is about 45min away from WDW.
Bok Tower and Gardens....
We had free passes to visit(its inexpensive also) and they were due to expire. For those who want to know, Bok Tower is in Lake Wales FL. It is a "singing" tower, which means it has a carillion of bells which play daily in a recitel. The gardens are very lush. The wildlife is wonderful. We saw a ton of squirrels, a snake, a tortise and a gopher. We saw tons of birds too. Its a wonderful place to escape to for a few hours without any crowds. It really is a nice place to visit. I am waiting to get my pics from a friend of mine, but when I get them, I will post them if anyone is interested.
Bok Tower is a wonderful place to go if you have been to WDW and want to go somewhere different and not spend a lot of money. It may not be the ideal place for small children, but if you are a nature lover, you may want to vist. PM me if you want more info on it.
