I have been trying to make use of LLM and generative AI and found something I think will actually be very helpful.

The worst part about eating at home is planning the menu. Not sure what it didn't occur to me until today but I just asked ChatGPT to plan my menu for the week:

The prompt:
using recipes from skinnytaste.com create me a 5 dinner shopping list

The result:

This will really make meal planning so much easier.

I'm a big fan of ChatGPT, although it can be misused to generate academic essays at the expense of harder working pupils :(

That’s pretty cool! BTW the majority of our meals come from Skinnytaste too!

That's a great idea! Will definitely try it the next time we have company!

DD and I are going to Ireland in late June (her graduation gift). I've been using it to create our itinerary, and it's been really helpful.

But isn't Chat GPT now literally ripping off Skinny Taste material and stealing its site clicks and internet advertising money? This seems pretty illegal, or at least wildly gray, if it's willing to do this when asked...

I will still visit skinny taste for the actual directions. ChatGPT only included the ingredients.

But if you asked for the directions, would it give it as a follow up?

I foresee the biggest class action lawsuit from every internet business ever made towards Chat GPT coming if so...

I mean, I grew up with Napster, which was also one of the best internet inventions ever...'

It also just so happened to be found wildly illegal for allowing the rip off of so much creative material (aka copyright infringement, the same thing this request seems to do), even if it wasn't intentionally doing so, either, at least not at the corporate level...it just enabled users to do so...
