Never been a blonde. I have dark brown hair. I have only posted one pic of me along with the rest of the family a while back. I do not like pictures taken of me.

I remember the picture - and I do not like pictures taken of me either - I just don't look right

Mary - Your bedroom is a showplace! I would love to have the time and money to play decorator in my own home. The boys still sleep in a room painted Hundred Acre Wood green with Winnie the Pooh wallpaper border. Yeah, that's leftover from the nursery theme when Daniel was born.

I'll change it someday.

It only took us SEVENTEEN years to do our bedroom over . So why not let them sleep in the Hundred Acre Wood green room with Pooh bear?? Just change it sooner then it took us to change ours.

this year we need to replace all our windows so the painting will take a back step again.

Well I didn't mean it like that.

Our mayor is the mayor of NYC he has control of the schools but he is a busniess man and really should NOT have control of the school system . There is not a I know that really understands what is goingon with him as the leader of the schools. I just wish I had the money to put all my kids in catholic school or at least a private school.

Gotta run be by later... BTW anyone notice we are almost at PAGE 200 !!

Maybe it is just different because it is such a big city but the mayor should never have control over school funding. That should be done on state & federal levels. Absolutely nuts!

Albuquerque for a convention with my sister and NO KIDS!

Albuquerque is on my list of places to visit. Can't wait to hear all about it! Sounds like a fun trip to me.

On 2nd thought, my sisters & I take a summer trip together every year. Now that I think about it, I don't know if it sounds like fun or not. Shhhh.... don't tell them I said that.

We have ice days. A couple of years ago we had to use a snow day because a severe storm came through and tore the air conditioners off the roof of the high school.

We have hurricane days. In 11 years, my DS has only missed 2 hurricane days though. They could have gone those days too. It was an anticipation of the big storm thing.

Well we have a very nice concession stand and a very nice ball field. All are courtesy of those wonderful fund raisers we have. And I was warm tonight while everyone else was freeing their rears off!

So, are you volunteering to work the concession stand every night, until it warms up?

Wow you have been suffering for a long time.

I was diagnosed with arthritis, when I was 27. At the time, I was reffing HS bball & thought I had a kidney infection or something similar. I had my back surgery about 6 yrs ago.

I keep sending dust....is it blowing away before reaching you??? Can't the doc give ya something to help make ya feel better??

He could give me Cortisone & stronger pain pills yet again. I haven't asked him to yet. The Cortisone packs on so many lbs, I try to avoid it if possible. It can get quite discouraging.

I was starting to feel better, before going to Kenny's play 3 days in a row. That set me back a bit, but hopefully not for long.

Have you heard how they made out? Did they get rained on?

They spent the night over there & are going to the parks again today. They'll be back here tonight, & I'm sure I'll hear all about it then.

Talked to coach last nite....spring soccer practice starts next week

I'd be digging out some insulated underwear & a blanket. I hate being cold.

i always said, all my sons would have been great as "only" children.

No doubt! 1 teenager is enough for me. I can't imagine 3 or 4 (can't remember ). You definitely had the harder job.

i have a friend that had her labor/delivery video taped at the time of giving birth.
when she gets ticked off at the kid, she watches the video in reverse and puts him back in.

she says it makes her feel so much better and it takes the anger away she has.....

my forensic file show is on in a few minutes.

Hi all
Another quick fly by....
I went to visit my dad today in the hospital. I didn't go yest, as I was really tired all day and had a couple of errands to run yest.
Anyways, my dad is doing better healthwise. He still is nothing by mouth, but the doc is going to clamp his NG tube and see how he does for a few hours. If he does well, then they will take out hte NG tube and get him on a clear liquid diet. He was up in a chair when I showed up. A friend of the family was htere when I showed up. Actually it's my cousin's father-in-law. Cousin's FIL tends to talk quite a bit and my dad never really liked him, so I'm sure my dad was glad I was there when this guy was there They get along, its just that this guy is very nosey all the time and my dad doesn't like it.
Anyways, the surgeon showed up to check on my dad in the meantime. Eveything looks good. Saw the surgeon was wearing a red white and blue striped mouse ears pin.

Ok, gotta run as I'm late gettign kids off the bus.
I;ll try to finish story later.
