That sweetheart has chewed up two sets of shoelaces, 27 markers, 39 pencils, chewed on my couch, ate a rabbit turd and crapped on my floor!

Oops. So he's a BAD sweatheart. Our dogs always taught our kids how to keep stuff off the floor (or keep their doors closed).

Where do you get these ideas? :confused3 :confused3

It may or may not be a ride.
You may or may not get wet.
There may or may not be a track.
It may or may not be indoors.
There are no alien bugs.

Good luck. :darth:

This article was from a few years ago, found it online.

Approximately 12 out of the 18 vaccine doses the average American child receives before the age of two contain thimerosal. Cumulatively, that’s more than 200 micrograms of mercury, which would fit on the head of a pin. According to the EPA, dropping that pin-head of mercury into 23 gallons of water would make it unsafe for human consumption. “Think about the idea of injecting your own child with levels of mercury that are thirty to forty times what’s considered safe for an adult,” Dallas attorney Andy Waters said. “And, I think if any human being thinks about that very long, they recognize that this is something that never should have happened.”

That is what is causing the autism....why does it affect some kids and not others? :confused3 What makes "Colin" get autism and not "Ryan"??? :scratchin

My DH has made a point of teaching our DS the difference between responsible & irresponsible drinking. He tries to stress what irresponsible drinking does to you & your family. Hopefully, it will sink in.

Smart DH...taking responsibility for educating son .... :thumbsup2

2 hr terminator tonight, guess i'm the only homie watching the series? it's very good.

I don't watch it, but caught the VERY end....the main character (the female robot from the future to protect john) blew up in the car when she turned the key?

Here's something about nothing. . .

This afternoon at work - I work in an annex building so we go out our door, down the stairs, 4 steps down a walkway/alley between my building and the "main" office and in the back door. So, I was taking mail over to the next building and it was blizzarding (yep, that's a word) and there was already a snow drift outside our door and in front of the back door of the main building. I go in and take care of my mail and the executive secretary stops me in the hall and they are whining about the snow and how everyone is leaving early, blah, blah, blah. So I said, it's really, really bad outside and everyone SHOULD go home. . it's only a couple hours till we close up shop anyway. . .look out here at these drifts. So she comes to the back door with me, and I unlock it and step out to return to my building and she goes "do you guys have a broom over there. . . I will sweep this away", so I quip "no, only the one I rode to work today". . . ok, the look on her face was PRICE LESS!

When I return to my office my phone is ringing. . .yep, it's HER. . . she's :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and is sooo proud of herself cuz she "got it". Uuummm, yeah, she needs to retire. . . I'm tired of doing her work and you cain't fix stupid!

Oops. So he's a BAD sweatheart. Our dogs always taught our kids how to keep stuff off the floor (or keep their doors closed).

:lmao: Yep. . .she's teaching ALL of us that! But she's so dang cute that you can't stay mad :confused3

Just went to the County Swimming Awards dinner and guess what....none of our boys showed up

I'd like to know what their consequences are that you're gonna dish out :hyper:

Lori - Welcome to Best Buy Computer Hell!! We had this issue last fall. Hubby was on phone to customer service and eventually scored a $1,000 gift card to buy a new computer. So far, this one is OK.

:) jennifer

Lucky!!! This is the reason DH won't buy any big ticket item at BB....their warranty and return policy stink! :headache:

I saw that episode a while ago. I normally don't like the Food Channel shows, but I enjoy their cake competition.

By the way - who would waste 6 hours at the park watching this competition?? Not me - I'm heading for the rides.
:)

:thumbsup2

Never buy one from Radio Shack either they are worse than best buy cause I bought one from those guys and took it back after the second time they wouldn't fix it and then said they threw it out and couldn't find my work order :scared1:

So...they just THREW AWAY your computer? :confused3 That's not right.... :sad2:

Barb, make any headway with the salon owner over his assinine policies?

I mentioned it to the owner and asked him if he's considered what I said. He said he did (and I further explained my cause) and he said he was going to discuss it with Mike this weekend (Mike is his nephew and co-owner of the business and he lives in Mechanicsburg...not local. He'll be in Saturday tho....hoping to get an answer over the weekend or next week....) Thanks for askin' tho!

I sort of have a rant. And guess I'm wondering if I'm being too petty. I'll let you tell me:

So, I work with this guy who is in GA (I'm in NJ). We are friendly enough at work (via IM, phone, email), and a few years ago he hit me up for a donation for an autism walk.

I have to agree with the others...he was rude. Not even a 'thank you' :sad2: You made the attempt and accidentally messed up. As long as the money goes to the people who need it, you should feel good in your heart  Hopefully your receipt will be enough for you to deduct it from your '08 taxes...

Not over until tax day. I'm the biggest loser at 33. The next closest is 18.

:woohoo:

I really don't think you are being petty......a thank you for the generous donation would have been the right thing to do - as well as a "let's see if I can getin touch with someone and get it credited for this year."

Some people just don't "get it" and while he has a very hectic life with a child with autism, doesn't give him the right to forget about common courtesy.

hope you are able to get it credited for this year - if not - don't sweat it

you did what you could and tried to rectify it.....you are a great person:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

- no peep left behind, so did he did in vain or did he leave his mark on the jeans? jk:lmao: Rather surprised to see there are entire sites devoted to peep "worship":upsidedow. Granted, i'm not the crafty type but, what idjit would glue them to a picture frame?wouldn't it attract insects, etc...ew.
peepspicture.gif

:confused3 :lmao: I agree...not the brightest idea.... :confused3

Katie - too bad my DS13 isn't in your class. You would be done by now. His English teacher posted his grades - he got a NO CREDIT for his journal that was supposed to be turned in Friday. I asked him, "Why did you not turn it in?" The answer - the good old standby, "I forgot". I said did you see everyone else turn theirs in? He says "No, I had my head down writing.":confused3

You see why we go to Sylvan???? Tonight, was math homework - he is looking for a "special" calculator that will do fractions. WHAT????? My husband told him all calculators do fractions - just punch the numbers in. No evidently, our calculators could not do fractions the way they do them at school?????!!!!???

This was a lovely 30 minute argument.

:)

My mom actually saw the tests....and she was blown away by the ridiculous spelling by these kids :sad2:

I tell ya, cell phone and texting is making us American unedumacated...:dance3:

...I'm pretty sensitive to snippiness right now. Let's just say that Chantix has crabbed out my normally mellow husband. This has not been an easy month for either of us, but I'm still hopefully optimistic. :hippie:

So...I gather MIke hasn't caved and 'lit up' then, huh?? :thumbsup2 Indulge him with something else fun :rolleyes1 I'm proud of him and have faith...tell him he CAN do it! :thumbsup2

i just sweet talked the principal into letting me replace the stolen graphing calculator with a "used one"...wanted me to pay over $100:rolleyes1 (discounted price:headache: )

still think they are wrong, wrong, wrong...shop teacher has them set all their stuff out in the hall...evidently, it was picked up by a passerby:confused3

Uh...yeah....if the teacher makes them leave their stuff in the hall (which I don't get THAT, but okayyyyy), then the teacher is liable....not you. That would be like a class full of girls and making them leave their purse in the hall :confused3 Thank God for eBay...huh...

darkie and brab........so, you snuck out of bed last night to give me the raspberry..........that was so not nice of you....:snooty:
but then, it was something i would have done also....

Always haveta have ONE troublemaker in the bunch.... :rolleyes1

Okay, can you get me the number that he called. I do not want to deal directly with this store again. I already know they are just going to give me something in the store that they have determined to be comparable.

This is a great idea....hope it works. Keep us posted on how you make out...or if ya need advice or 'what do you think?'

I will be having some sort of baseball field junk. Tonight is season opener. I have to run the concession stand.

If you're runnin' the concession, you can't watch the game??? Can't wait to find out how it went.... :hyper:

Well I will be out of town Friday - Monday so I won't be here to add to the posts. I sure hope you guys don't give me that much to catch up on. :headache:

Didja give Mac yer note? :teacher:

We didn't take Joshua to the dentist until his 3rd birthday. Our dentist assured us that there was no reason for a checkup before then. He took one look at 3 year old Joshua and said, "ooops." There was a LOT of stuff wrong with Joshua's teeth. We wound up going to a pediatric dentist and having a full mouth rehab (under sedation) done on Joshua before he was 4. Because of the family history, the ped dentist recommended bringing Daniel in for his first checkup when he turned 1. No big surprise, but Daniel is following in Joshua's teeth problem footsteps... however, we are catching the problems and dealing with them before they get too bad.

Daniel handled the visit okay. He wasn't thrilled, but Dr. Tom is really great. He told Daniel what he was going to do, then he was in and out of Daniel's mouth in under 10 minutes. We have to go back on the 17th for him to do the other side of his mouth, but I'll worry about that when the time comes.

Sometimes the "person" makes all the difference :thumbsup2 Glad to read things went well....even if ya can only do 1/2 a mouth at a time....better to be there at an early age to catch whatever may be going wrong!

hey gang!
getting ready for tomorrows big snow/ice/ rain event.

not again! Have you hit 100" yet?

I did not tell but i am having surgery on the left big toe in May. at this point, they can cut it off. it is not right in there, something could be loose/floating and I just want it fixed. this is the toe I broke last April. some days, it just throbs. the good news is i can wear the walking cast I ALREADY BOUGHT AND THE CRUTCHES TOO after the surgery and there we save some moola. after a few days, a walking boot, and a couple of weeks later a real shoe. :thumbsup2

Okay....so that's good news, bad news :thumbsup2 Hopefully the surgery will be worth it and it'll feel better!

did all the reading on DL.
I can tell you all, i have changed my mind. for those prices at those 3 hotels- i can go to DW for a week and eat and have a place to sleep and park passes too. (for several people) vs 2 people. so, DL is out. the other thing is , if we do DW, i can go over to Uni too. sure we could do that in DL, but, it just did not have enough to entice me. being able to throw in the meal plan at disney is a plus too. we did the basic one and it was soooooo cost efective for us.

Someday Penny....someday  If it's more cost effective to go to Fla., go to Fla...don't blame ya!

Made chocolate chip pancakes and scrambled eggs for the kids.

And, me being such a brain. . . I ordered 5 pizzas from a friends son to support his youth group at their church. . .then I ordered 8 boxes of girl scout cookies to support another friend's ds's troop. . . WE WON'T EAT ANY OF IT!!!!! Of course I'm in trouble cuz it cost $71 total. He's taking the pizza's to his work to sell them off. . .I was gonna give them away. And cookies went in deep freeze

Bubba eats Pillsbury chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast everyday and a Whole Wheat Thomas' English muffin..... It's hard to say 'no' to fundraisers....and girl scouts...well, they are everywhere! Grocery store...Walmart, etc.... I buy lots too and freeze them...1 box/month we get...when they're gone, they're gone for that month! Money goes to good cause :thumbsup2 I am very proud of your willpower to NOT eat any of it! Good job! :woohoo:

Welllll... both boys are "good"... but this is the one that I regularly threaten to stick out back. ;)

For now, I'm going to go prepare myself for Family Night at McDonald's tonight. Oh, joy of joys.... I don't particularly like McDs in the first place... then add crowded and full of very young children... Woo friggin Hoo!

Glad Daniel handled the dentist appointment well.

Sounds like lots of fun at Mickey D’s.

just bought and ugly pair of Vans at the store. yeah, ugly. BUT, they have enough room in the toe box and I did not tell but i am having surgery on the left big toe in May. at this point, they can cut it off. it is not right in there, something could be loose/floating and I just want it fixed. this is the toe I broke last April. some days, it just throbs. the good news is i can wear the walking cast I ALREADY BOUGHT AND THE CRUTCHES TOO after the surgery and there we save some moola. after a few days, a walking boot, and a couple of weeks later a real shoe. :thumbsup2

well, time to watch MEDIUM I taped it last night.

I am so sorry you are still having problems with your toe. I hope this works.

DL can be expensive. I think we can stay at WDW for twice as long for the same amount.

I love Medium but never get to watch it anymore.

Lori gone for the weekend ... If we have to move we will forward the address to you just bring a BLENDER :lmao: and a :happytv: So I can watch LOST . I am sure we will not have to move but it is coming soon.

Well at this rate you guys are gonna be moved. Geez y’all filled 5 pages while I was gone to a baseball game.

Afternoon peoples...just getting in from work...in the rain.

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!

Hi Todd!

Ya goin' somewhere fun?

Albuquerque for a convention with my sister and NO KIDS!

Last night was not a good night at the Jaws household. Jr. had homework problems and on Mondays he is to go Sylvan Learning for special tutoring from 4:30-6:30. Well he had a bunch of homework, and Mr. Jaws calls me at work at 4pm complaining about the teacher needing a PowerPoint presentation. We had purchased Office 2007 about 3 weeks ago for this presentation. Well now, the school computers can't read 2007 and it needed to be in Office 2003. We don't have 2003 as the Best Buy computer sucked and crashed, and now I can't find the old 2003 CD-ROM to reload. He was yelling, the kid was yelling, and I am at the office trying to work on tax returns. So, I come home to see if I can find Office 2003 and hope we don't have to redo this whole presentation.

Long story short - (too late for that now;)) you can evidently save files into the old '03 format with the '07 software. So, :cool1: did not have to redo it. Now that I was home, I wasn't going back to the office. So, I did what any hard-working stressed out woman would do - I took a hot bath. We do not usually keep alcohol in the house - or this would have been the right way to finish the evening.

So between the stress and the bath, I fell asleep during LPBW and only caught about 10 minutes of the next show.

Oh well - tomorrow is another day.

This day hasn't been too bad as I had a massage scheduled tonight.:cool1:  Feeling pretty good right now.

:) jennifer

A PowerPoint presentation? What grade is he in? School should not be that stressful for kids or parents.

Lori - I will ask Mr. Jaws for the number he called. I think he went through corporate Best Buy and not the Geek Squad.

Right now Mr. Jaws is busy doing the bills, so I leave him alone.;)

Thank you. I think they need to know how the program is being sold and then actually done.

The next time I'm thinking of going to Family Night at McDonalds, I think I'll find a sharp object and JAB IT IN MY EYE.

It'll be more fun.

It was a "pajama party" so the boys were in pjs and we all had hotcakes for dinner.

Between the dentist this morning and Mickey Ds tonight, I feel like I've been run over by the parenting bus.

Those boys are so adorable! How could you not have had fun????? J/K

We did get some snow, but not enough to amount to anything. There was a little on my car, on the roof of the house, and a little stuck in the dead grass this morning, but none on the roads. It's 45 here now.

Wonderful weather.

okay.....so jaws in virginia is not having fun, and rvgal is thinking of wound self infliction, todd is drowning
wwessing has a freezer of good food and penny just ate a handfull of mini cadbury eggs.

anyone ready for a Universal Vacation yet?

:lmao:lmao

the top story on the news tonight here in MAINE- yep you guessed it
the snow in arkansas!!!!!!!!!!!

i aint kidding you!

You have got to be kidding! As much snow as you guys have and they report on a little snow in Arkansas?

WOW...no kidding? Yeah, they did get a good bit up north, but we're in the southwest. We haven't had a snow day in years!

We have ice days. A couple of years ago we had to use a snow day because a severe storm came through and tore the air conditioners off the roof of the high school.

lori - stinks about your computer, my opinion of best buy is rapidly declining. i cannot believe you start baseball so early, think the boys would freeze their fingers off;) . i must admit i dread my turn @ concession stand, doesn't help that i'm allergic to bees & they always seem to be hovering. we'll miss u this weekend.

Well we have a very nice concession stand and a very nice ball field. All are courtesy of those wonderful fund raisers we have. And I was warm tonight while everyone else was freeing their rears off!

oing on a road trip too on Sunday....

1st Erie River Rats game:cheer2: ; get to drive some 300+ miles up & back (wonder how much gas that'll cost me lol?). Youngest DS volunteered to stay home & keep an "ear" out for ma jik she has a problem while we're gone...so i guess we're set...gonna be a long day

Sounds like fun! Good luck to your boys!

i have yet to ever get sick of takeout or anybody else in the household cooking;)

Me neither!

Wait.... isn't this the same son who was conspiring with her a few days ago? :rotfl: (My memory's not good enough to remember what they were up to.)

:lmao:lmao:lmao

You'd be surprised how good a sandwich put together at home can taste at times. I've been going through back problems for awhile. Before I had back surgery, I was on 2 1/2 months bedrest to take steroid therapy to get my back strong enough to operate on it. Our church brought in wonderful meals for dinner everyday, & fed us twice a day on weekends, during this time & after my surgery. They always brought a nicer meal than I'm sure they cooked for themselves, & it was VERY MUCH appreciated. After awhile, we just wanted soup & a sandwich though. You know..... too much of a good thing..... The same is true for takeout. Unfortunately, we have to resort to going that route way too often, because I'm unable to cook. I mourn for the days when I could spend 3 hrs. cooking dinner.

Wow you have been suffering for a long time.

Watching PBS right now.....History of Philly Food - its really cool. :cool1: :cool1: what isn't cool is the "commercial" that is on now - the we need your support speil

Yes that gets very annoying, to the point of not watching during their fund raiser. It goes on way to long.

Evening!

Grading tests...what a fun night.....

Hi Katie!

Hey all....

Going back 9 pages to ketchup.... :teeth: ...wish me luck!!!

Yup. I am here untl next Friday. That's not this Friday but the NEXT FRIDAY!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought area rugs today. How exciting is that?

Very exciting. Are you enjoying your new home?

I survived day 2. THOUSAND.

Good for you.

Good night folks...have a good night!

Nite Todd! Sad that I said Hi & Nite in the same post.

Thanks! You know, I've never been able to diet and lose weight. I've never been a small person. . . I was one of those chubby kids. Here's the thing though. . .it never seemed to matter in my life. I've got a good sense of myself; I always had HOT boyfriends (and hubbies. . yeah, dh is my 2nd and my forever); I never "saw" myself as a fat person. I turned 40 in December and it honestly changed my life. I was feeling really down and upset for several months prior to the bday. . I even cancelled a big 40th bash because I just couldn't deal with it. Then, one day, I just decided that it was time to take control. I couldn't change the fact I was going to be 40, but I could, by the grace of God, see this as a POSITIVE turning point in my life. It's THE thing that works for me. I'm very committed the the changes I've made and I can honestly say that, as of right now, I've not made one single bad choice regarding my diet. But see, I'm not on a diet because that indicates a person will change their eating habits for a short period of time. I have no interest in that because it's never worked for me. I have changed my life and decided that I want to be healthy for however long I have on this earth. I've never before had willpower, per say, and I don't know what to call it now. . other than real da*n hard! Today, I made chocolate chip pancakes for my kids for supper, and I have pms, and I was hungry while cooking. . . I wanted to rip something to shreds, then something else, then smash something twice but I was by gosh NOT GOING TO EAT ONE OF THOSE PANCAKES!! Yyuuuummmmm. . . fried chocolate. . .it was really, really, really hard and I wanted it, but there was really never a moment when I truly considered even taking one single bite. Over the years I've seen so many stories about people who have lost a great amount of weight and I was so envious. They always talked about THE thing that motivated them and now, I truly understand. I never could find my thing that motivated me. I just went through this turning 40 thing for months and it was a process that evolved to where I'm at now. I can't really explain it very well, but I feel even more committed than I did 2 months ago. I've come this far. . .lost 21 pounds. . . miss my favorite foods every day. . but I still pack my yogurt and fruit every single day and I fight the addiction every single day.

So, wow, I just had some serious insight or something, but that was way too serious and I'm done with that now. . . I'll think of a funny and be back

I am so very proud of you! You are an inspiration!

All our fleece is NASCAR. . . imagine that. . . oh, and one old Chicago Bulls blanket. . . but that's from when they were DA BULLS!!!:worship:

I miss Michael!

Before I forget, yet AGAIN, would someone enlighten me as to what the 'car of tomorrow' is??? :confused3

All I know is it is supposed to be a “safer” car. I don’t think so!

]I'm glad you were all okay..... lightening & hail are nasty! You need to move.....you've been getting really scary/freaky weather for as long as I've known you..... granted, that's only about a year...but still...I think of Oklahoma, I think 'hot' :confused3

Hot in the summer, lots of days around or over 100. Always windy, I swear I could put in a wind generator farm and power the US. Very unpredictable winters, it can be in the teens one day and in the 60’s/70’s the next.

Well...I did.... My thermostat mounted on the bedframe was offwhite and I took a pencil and marked the degree for summer and winter.... well...the one summer I went to adjust it to the 'summer' temp and it was too cold. :confused3 So, i kept putting it back up, and before I knew it, it was at the winter setting! What I think has happened, is that sleeping in this warm bed, has thinned my blood (kinda like living in the south)... because I'm always cold (unless I'm in bed), and now I don't adjust the temperature and I'm comfy year round :goodvibes All I know for sure is that we love this bed.... :lovestruc

Makes sense to me. I could see you adjusting to it.

That is an awful story! :sad2: Anything happen "legally" to anyone?? How old was this girl that she had 'sons'....or was that the hosts' sons? Yet another story of the 'guilty' party not being injured :sad2:

I remember someone else asked this earlier and I forgot to respond. The two boys were the hosts sons. The driver got like 600 hours of community service. The boys parents were left alone.

Uh...no....we're moving to Florida, remember?? :confused3

Sorry. Did you not sense the sarcasm?

 smart girl!!! Good thinkin' :thumbsup2 This 'warranty' should be written down somewhere in your paperwork....
I think the warranty probably says the 4th time it is brought in. Surely they would not be refusing to replace it if it is the other way in the warranty. I need to pull it out to see for sure. They are just telling it differently to sell the product.

 :dance3:  and I am SO going to enjoy reading how you stuck in up their........ :rolleyes1

I’ll be sure to let you know when I get my satisfaction!

Most scientific calculators have the fractions button now. It really speeds things up but I find that the kids (my son being one of them) totally forget how to do fractions once they use it too much. It also doesn't help them at all when they are doing rational expressions (that's fractions in algebra -- variables not numbers).

However, it is great for some kids who get really hung up on fractions and it impacts everything else.

As a math tutor, I see the good and bad parts of that button.

I totally agree.

We are spending a TON of money on healthy food. It's really, really expensive to eat this way. . .I never knew. Our grocery bill has doubled :scared1: I always thought junk food was expensive, but it's cheap compared to fresh and healthy food. Plus, we have to go to the store more often now. It is what it is. . . .

So true. Eating healthy can be very expensive.

i thought that number was a piece of cake.
the one that bothered me the most was turning 20.
i love having bdays.
it means i am not dead.

:lmao:lmao:lmao

i will figure it out where you work.
seagulls, jaws area.........hmm

I think if we all work on it we will figure it out!

That sweetheart has chewed up two sets of shoelaces, 27 markers, 39 pencils, chewed on my couch, ate a rabbit turd and crapped on my floor!

Oh Lizzie is a chewer too. She drives me nuts. Fortunately she just chews on Ally’s stuff that she leaves laying around. Yet she still doesn’t learn to pick her stuff up.

We are in the middle of a crazy blizzard!!! I to leave work early because the snow piled up over 6 inches in just over 2 hours. . . the roads were treacherous!! I couldn't believe it. DH told dd11 she could wear her converse this morning. . .the have those little holes in the side ya know. . . because he said we weren't going to get much snow. . . .

dd was MAD when she came in the house from school. . .first thing she did was jump all over dh for telling her it would be ok to wear the shoes

It's been a long time since I saw the roads as bad as they are. I grew up in Illinois and learned to drive in this stuff, especially with a winter birthday. Having said that, I feel very confident in driving in any type of weather because we have it all. I was actually really nervous driving today, but I think it was stupid hour on the highway. . . was there a new episode of Jerry Springer showing this afternoon or something??

whoopsie! Glad to hear you all made it home safely.... Gotta watch those 'other' drivers in the snow....:sad2:

Has it been raining long? My niece & her 2 friends went to the parks today. They're spending tonight at CW. I hope it doesn't rain on them all day.

Have you heard how they made out? Did they get rained on?

So, did not have to redo it. Now that I was home, I wasn't going back to the office. So, I did what any hard-working stressed out woman would do - I took a hot bath. We do not usually keep alcohol in the house - or this would have been the right way to finish the evening.

This day hasn't been too bad as I had a massage scheduled tonight. Feeling pretty good right now.

:headache: Thank goodness we have computers to make our lives easier...huh? What a pain...but I'm glad you didn't have to do the whole thing over again!

Just what I need - one less hour during my "busy" season. Hurrah!

Oh well, at least thanks to Penny so I will be on time. Can't stand to have the clocks all off.

Right now - husband's alarm clock, my alarm clock, the clock in the car, and my watch are different. And it bugs me in the morning, as I can't tell if I'm late or early trying to get the kid up and out the door.

Can't wait to lose that hour....I always have SO much more motivation and energy when the weather warms up and the days are longer :goodvibes

Oh, and we have ALL our clocks "off" too....in my bedroom, I have MY alarm clock, DH's alarm clock and the VCR. They all have a different time  The only clocks 'right' are the computers and cable box  They are set 'ahead' that way we are never late.... usually... :rolleyes1

Oh c'mon...pj's, pancakes and McDonalds....why WOULDN'T that be fun??? :confused3 Look how cute they are...they look like they are having a great time!! :goodvibes

Sorry about the weather - but a day at Universal in the rain is still better than a day at the office!!!

:worship:

anyone ready for a Universal Vacation yet?

need you really ask???

lori - stinks about your computer, my opinion of best buy is rapidly declining.

our opinion wasn't high to begin with

barb - will probably miss u, going to switch off between idol and the returns

:wave2:

i have yet to ever get sick of takeout or anybody else in the household cooking

Actually, when we were at UO for 6 days in a row last summer...I couldn't wait to get to Dad's for homecookin'..... Yes, it's nice to eat out (on vacay) and all...but, I eventually yearn for homecooked!

keishashadow said:
tricia - didn't know u could get pancakes there during the day

Where do you get these ideas? :confused3 :confused3

It may or may not be a ride.
You may or may not get wet.
There may or may not be a track.
It may or may not be indoors.
There are no alien bugs.

Good luck. :darth:

hmmm - you are a tricky one grasshopper

massage or parks?

That is what is causing the autism....why does it affect some kids and not others? :confused3 What makes "Colin" get autism and not "Ryan"??? :scratchin

And why does Jim's cousin have 2 sons with it and no one else in the family has even one???? It's one of those things that I guess we are not meant to understand? :confused3

Looks like 2 teenage bananas & 1 grandpa banana. Grandpa's in slow motion. :rotfl: (Sadly, I don't even move as fast as Grandpa.) :sad2:

Get some rest! :cloud9:

correction!
grandpa banana is actually MARIO banana :cool1: But then again - he is so old that he could be slowing down a bit (you know, saving a princess for over 20 years can get a bit exhausting :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: )

Funny you should say that. . . no more than an hour ago dh and I were just talking about the very same thing. We watched a little bit of that movie where MJ played bb with the loony tunes characters. . I can't think of the name. At the end, there is a moment of MJ playing after his return and the movie ends with MJ, in the air, tongue hanging out and SLAMMING IT!

P.S. You know his son is currently playing college ball in Illinois. . . poor kid. . .

Space Jam! Great movie!

 :yay:  :yay:

That's okay....as long as you don't say "huh?" to yourself while you're talking..... :rolleyes1

HUH?

Penny...congratulations, you've earned:

Congrats Penny!

I'm the 4th Blue Man. DON'T TELL ANYONE!!!!!!

:rotfl:

I knew we would find you. :rotfl:

I did find that interesting...thanks for posting that. Makes ya wonder because 'all of a sudden' a LOT of kids are being diagnosed autistic....I don't remember ANY autistic kids when I was little? :confused3

Me neither. It is obvious that something has changed. Maybe the fact that they just keep coming out with more and more vaccines?:confused3 Who needs a vaccine for chicken pox?

Yep...linked to MMR shot....and I'm glad someone is finally admitting the link :sad2: About time...now they need to figure out why it's 'some' kids and not others?

I think it is probably more than just the mmr. They just haven't admitted anything else yet.

I initially thot Jaws too...but, then I was thinkin' Popeye...dunno why...but, a possibility....

Oh I love Popeye! If that is where he is I will see him a lot this summer.

Where do you get these ideas? :confused3 :confused3

I'm thinking you are protesting MIB too much. :cool2:

That is what is causing the autism....why does it affect some kids and not others? :confused3 What makes "Colin" get autism and not "Ryan"??? :scratchin

Other things in their environment, or possibly how close together they got them. Could be any number of things. :confused3

She sounds brilliant! :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Good luck! :wizard:

My mom actually saw the tests....and she was blown away by the ridiculous spelling by these kids :sad2:

I tell ya, cell phone and texting is making us American unedumacated...:dance3:

Sad isn't it?:sad2:

Alright... bed time!

Sweet dreams!

Nite Katie!

This is a great idea....hope it works. Keep us posted on how you make out...or if ya need advice or 'what do you think?'

Will do!

If you're runnin' the concession, you can't watch the game??? Can't wait to find out how it went.... :hyper:
