Yes, I am coming out of hiding for a moment to say hello to everyone
Working as much as I do, it is hard to keep up on here, but I do what I can! Hope everyone has a safe weekend, more bad weather on the way for a lot of us, we'll see what happens?? Fueling up and testing the snowblower and generator tomorrow, just in case

Janet, I hear you ... we are not exchanging with my SIL/BIL next year. We've already talked about it. We struggle with what to get them every year. What do you buy millionaires who already have everything they could possibly want? This year, we struggled but came up with an idea. But it was a struggle. Oh, and we're anxiously still waiting to hear how RPR made good for you!

Hello to everyone! I have to go grab something to eat, shower, then Mike and I are off to do some shopping before everyone gets out of work. I HATE the mall at Christmastime. HATE it! We did just get some online presents that I have to inspect and wrap. God, I hope my mom likes her gift this year .... I hate Christmas shopping. It's too stressful. We're at the point now where we're just buying whatever w/o regard to cost just to get done. BA HUMBUG!

I hope you are able to get some rest.....a messed up sleep schedule reeks havoc on the body I'm sure you guys will have a good time together shopping....you're smart by avoiding the mall at crowded time.... Sometimes you just HAVE to buy that gift because it's 'appropriate'...and not worry about the cost....

I was in Target today and 1) lost my sunglasses and 2) dodged people all over the place It was crowded for a Friday lunch-time time..... Guess Im not too bright either...planning on stopping by our mall on the way home tonight....

Some good news tho...stopped by AAA to see mai 'gal' and make a payment.... she GAVE me a 2008 Birnbaum DCL book...free Worth the trip apparently.... now...if I could get a chance to read thru it.....

We had our Christmas lunch today at work. They brought Olive Garden in and we ate like pigs...I could hardly move afterwards.

I'm here again. Saw the substitute doc, who has the personality of a broomstick, and he HMMMMMMd at me a bit. Then decided I clearly have some form of Gastritis and threw some pills at me. I'm now on Protonix (and doesn't that sound like some kind of genetic lab or robotic company) and Donnatal. So, an acid reducer/stomach lining replacer and a muscle relaxer.

We'll see.

I enjoyed the work party but didn't really have a good time across the street tonight. Most of her friends are strange and I didn't have much to talk about. BUT...I did find out that I really like Smirnoff Ice Wild Grape...YUM!

Hi guys
The office party last night was a success. We held it in an old 1800's house that has been converted into a bed and breakfast. The owners have filled it with antiques to give it a real homey feeling. Our private room even had a fire going in the huge fireplace. They have these large shrubs and pine trees outside that they light up with clear lights. It was snowing last night, and it just looked like a winter wonderland as you drove in. I half expected to see a wagon and horses in the driveway!
We had a cocktail hour first at the bar. The owners are wine connoisseurs and they had small tasting glasses so you could try quite a few wines. I liked one that was 80 percent Chardonnay and 20 percent Simeon. I'm going to have to give them a call as I can't remember what the name of it was.
Everyone made it home safely and showed up for work today!
I should be doing the Christmas cards right now, but I am feeling lazy...
