Very gloomy rainy day here as well.

Brief showers yesterday--enough to cancel all after school activities. But then great sunshiny weather from about noon on to today with highs of 70's.

DD15 still can't play tennis due to her injury from 3 wks ago. She has an excuse from orthopedic woman, but gym teacher said that if she could walk to class, then she could dress and walk in gym. Needless to say, she came out of school after walking non-stop for 45 minutes with her ankle swollen double in size.

Yeah--that's right walking 2 minutes to and from classes equates to non-stop walking on an injured ankle. What is this gym teacher thinking... DD said she would handle the teacher. If not, I'm calling the school tomorrow and watch out for the steam....
