Hey youse...

Thighs like a Quarter Back......

Good afternoon, well at least we`re not the only ones having horrible weather :confused3 Not snowing, but it`s blowing up a storm and chucking it down, but really cold. Not going out today. Hope you don`t get the snow too bad mac :thumbsup2

Was up really early today, 5am to watch the qualifying for the start of the F1 Grand Prix season. 1st race is in Australia, so another early rise tomorrow for the race itself. It was worth it though, fantastic quali sessions and got a few glimpses of my all time hero Michael Schumacher :love:
So early night tonight, as the clocks go forward, got it right this time!

Have a good Saturday :)

donald, the babe you posted should thank her plastic surgeon.
he did a good job. :hippie:

Me, too...I grew up gardening but the deer took over so I haven't done anything for the past dozen years.

Luckily, we go to a church that has us getting prepared for anything and this weekend the topic is gardening...a 2 hr. class and all:)

My neighbor has taken a huge area and just thrown in every vegetable imaginable put up a tall fence and just lets mother nature do her thing--she seriously never weeds or anything, but she has the tastiest produce.:confused3

I'll keep you posted

My church is big on preparedness, too. Always has been. It sounds like your neighbor does permaculture. We're trying that for the first time. Instead of planting things in nice neat rows, you plant things that compliment each other's chemistry next to each other, and climbing vegetables and fruits next to tall things like corn and trees. Herbs keep some plant-eating insects away, and certain plants attract insects that eat other plant-eating insects. We'll see how this turns out. We're starting small this year and adding more next year. We're using a book called Gaia's Garden as a resource.

I see your Edward and raise you a David......

i hope it all turns out normal and you feel better soon.

i'll save you.
i'll eat all the chocolates so you won't be tempted.....

that's what a good homie i am to you......:goodvibes

It's a tiny thing taped to my stomach, so I don't even notice it. And I'll eat all the chocolate I can get my paws in, thanks! We can share. I'll just take insulin with it. :thumbsup2

almost the weekend....

that usually excites me but i have an 8:00 doc appt on saturday and it's a 45 minute drive to get there.

scratch the welcoming of the weekend for me this week...

Ugh.... Good luck and I hope you still have a bit of the day left after your appointment. Waiting rooms are very aptly named. Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait....

Good afternoon homies
Not feeling up to par today cause I got a serious case of acid reflux

Sorry, St. L. Hope it settles down soon. Rice for dinner for you!

Tami - to totally spaced and forgot to wish you good luck and hope that you are all straightened out soon :flower3:

Thanks, Tlinus! This should help us figure out what my blood glucose patterns are so I can adjust the settings on my insulin pump. I'm all different from what I needed a few years ago. Age does that, I guess.

That reminds me of Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey.

"I've always been afraid of clowns, and I don't know why.
Maybe it has something to do with the time I went to the circus and a clown killed my father."

Off to a birthday party with Jared. BBL.

:):lmao: I'll have to let her know she has a name for her laziness. For her gardening is simply put it in the ground, gripe, complain, and send the kids out to pick some now and again. She isn't exactly known for her get up and go.

After listening to the gardening lecture, I think I'm putting in raised beds, too. She stressed still preparing the base so that once you put in the dirt on top that you will have about 14 inches for roots. And always be thinking about what to put in once the one crop is finished. i.e. gr. beans then beets.

She said that sweet potatoes are really good for breaking up all kinds of soil problems. And one good thing to do was plant carrots for fall/winter. Lay straw on top and you will constantly have fresh carrots all winter--just go out pick what you want, then put the straw back 'til next time.

And instead of flowers this year, I'm going to put in flowering vegetables along with my lavender and marigolds. (I took the lavender seeds from bushes outside the Capitol in DC:))

Oh, I'm still going. Its just a matter of where I'm staying. Though, if I do switch to Disney, Bonny and Lee might get a stalker. :rolleyes1

Good-night, Folksies. I'm finally getting to bed. We watched Twilight tonight. Good show.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

:cool2:

Morning all...It's raining here again! Hopefully it will rain all day and my grass can start to turn green again! :cool1:

:goodvibes Morning everyone, hey Todd, glad you got some rain :thumbsup2 sounded as if you needed it!
Beautiful day here, still cold but very sunny.
Been up since 5.45am watching the F1 Grand Prix. Then got all my ironing done and been out to local shop for few bits. So......plan to do nothing else all day.
I`m reading Robert Wagners autobiography, it`s very good :thumbsup2

What`s everyone else up to today :)
