Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday.

I know it is Friday the 13th, so to all the scare lover homies out there...BOO:scared1: :scared1:

I am enjoying a sunny day.. a little on the cool side but there IS sun!! :smooth: :smooth:

Afternoon HOmies!!

Shamu just flew by my building.

Seriously.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Today's landing pattern at PHL has the planes flying by my window (very distracting for someone with a touch of ADD like myself)

I look out on occasion and that was the plane I saw. My initial reaction was "what the heck" then I looked closer and laughed. Then found it online.

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday! Work day is almost over!!!

Soon it will be time for:

how could i forget it was friday the 13th:banana: nothing scarier than the economy these days:rolleyes:

busy bee today booking ressie @ WDW for my oldest DS & his wife, talk about jumping thru hoops.:headache: Economy may be bad & the hotel rooms may be empty by the looks of all the promos out there @ disney, yet the DVC units r pretty much booked solid for 5 night stays the 1st 2 weeks in Dec. & end of June/early July.:confused3 Perhaps due to the fact that they r TSs, yet if u don't have a job; don't think ur going to go anywhere regardless.

think i'll crack open my last couple landsharks tonight-st paddy's day early & all...blame it on tracie's subliminal message:upsidedow

enjoy the weekend all!

GRRRRR!!!! I got my AT&T bill in my email today. It was $93 instead of the regular $73. I looked at it, and some company called Payment One charged me $19.95 for something called Celebrity Tracker, LLC. I've never heard of either! And both are conviently closed at the moment. I know AT&T will be open tomorrow, don't know about the other. One of them better be taking that charge off my account, or I am not paying the 19.95!! And I still haven't gotten my Universal voucher!!!!!

DD is still in running for varsity, but she doesn't understand why I care more than she does... Ummmm COULD IT BE THAT I SPENT PROBABLY OVER $1000 ON TENNIS LESSONS AND CAMPS FOR HER LAST YEAR??? Then she doesn't pick up the racquet for 8 months and expect to do good?????!!!!:confused3

She has to beat 2 other girls on Monday to make it...these are girls that she could've beat with one hand tied behind her back last year

Keep blowing mummy dust her way.:) or maybe my way so I can keep my sanity...:headache:

Going to a St. Patty's mining electrical dance tomorrow--since I can't drink the beer, I'll have a big glass of wine for everybody.:thumbsup2

:sad2: Mtnrs just lost:sad2:

Are you on Facebook? There are a ton of things that are *thisclose* to being scams on it. "Take this IQ quiz" or "Somebody challenges you to take this quiz"... and by taking the quiz (if you read the fine print that nobody reads) you are actually registering for a monthly phone service. If that's what it is, call and fuss. They'll remove the charge.

Hi all. Haven't stopped by in awhile because my Mom is in the hospital. She is obese and has alot of health problems. Right now she has gangrene in her foot, as well as MRSA. Unfortunately, I can't go visit her because I am taking immuno-suppresant drugs right now. It is really hard to take care of my 87 year old grandmother and deal with Mom's doctors over the phone. Especially when I keep getting different stories from different people. My Mom called me earlier this week upset because they want to shelve her away in a nursing home. She is only 63. Since I have been through this with her before, I talked to the social worker about this. The social worker is more interested in getting her out of the hospital and turning over her social security check than she is my mother's well being. The LPN also says that she has to be out by Saturday (today) and into the nursing home. When the MD finally contacts me, she tells me that this is a battle with hospital administration. She does not believe my mother needs a nursing home. She has to have a drip IV for the next month, but Mom can walk and generally take care of herself. The MD wants her to stay in the hospital not only to medicate her IV, but also because she is on a 400 calorie a day diet to kick-start her new weight loss program. I hate all of the red tape BS when dealing with hospitals. Anyway, I have spent wayyyy to much time on the phone. Luckily, we have alot of minutes on our cell plan.

Work has also been insanely busy. When it rains, it pours.

Anyway, I hope I have things back on track and can keep up here. My HHN trip has been firmed up for the last week of October, and I am sooo ready for a vacation.

i feel bad for you.
when someone is on medicare or medicaid, the restrictions are endless.

would they cover your mom to be at home and have her iv drip line attended to there?
i had to set that up once before.

she could have visiting nurses come out 3 x's a week for check up for her well being.

a 400 calorie daily intake is not a whole lot of food.
she will drop weight quickly on that diet.

take care.
things have a way of working themselves out sometimes.

glad to hear you are set up for hhn now.

and a very good afternoon to all the homies out there!! :goodvibes

OK, we're getting more excited for our May trip ... Todd's talk of the shuttle launch got me to looking at the NASA site and it looks like we may be able to catch at least one (maybe 2) launches while we're down in May (of course all depending on if the first one is pushed back a few days) ... :cool1:
