I have started referring to my laundry pile as Mt Washmore. I don't think I will ever reach the summit.

After temps in the 80s, it is a mere 64 degrees today. Rain is coming for the next 3 days and bringing cooler temps with it. Bah. All the trees that have flowered already will lose their pretty petals. Oh, well. We still need the rain and *maybe* it will control the pollen.

Who am I kidding. I live in the pollen capital of the world.

i quit smoking (for the last time ) 10 years ago, noticed a sign @ drug store today when i was picking up my newspaper

they r instituting the new $.60-some state tax early resulting in a pack of marlboro lights costing $6.79

they were slightly over $2.00 when i quit, shocking

know i used to pick them up in North Carolina-no or less taxes, just wondering

how much does a pack of smokes cost in your neighborhood ?
