Oh yeah...I loves me some dills! :rotfl:

I know...Disney doesn't play well with others. They don't even offer the Flexpay option. :sad2:

and at their prices...they should! :snooty:

come to think of it...betcha more people WOULD purchase Disney APs if they COULD do flex pay....

Absolutely...Disney is running a two day ticket for $99.00 for FL residents to try and boost more local traffic. If they really wanted to boost local traffic, they would offer Flexpay. But...they don't.

Notice they don't offer any park discounts? That's what I'm talking about. I mean...I'm not going to go to DTD just to save 10% on merchandise or eat at any of those restaurants...it's completely out of my way. And the restaurants...those are too expensive to begin with and too much of a meal unless you're staying onsite and can easily get back to the room for a nap. I would have problems staying awake driving home after a big meal at any of those places.

They need to put park discounts in place for those of us who don't spend a lot on food but still want to buy a shirt or something.

Bonny, I quit doing the disney ap about 5 or so years ago.

it wasn't worth it for me once the packages came out cheaper.

virgin records in dtd is closing up.
so that discount won't be available.

also, when i had the ap, the 10% discount on the restaurants in epcot were on a limited time period. no weekends were allowed for any discounts.

i don't find the disney ap worth it for me.
i use the AAA for the room discounts and tour discounts.
i'm only going once a year so i don't come out ahead with the disney ap.

disney visa cards also give a few discounts, not many. only if you spend $50 or more can you get a discount at WOD in dtd.

i buy my disney passes thr UT and get a better deal.
for people that go 3 times a year, i'm sure the ticket portion makes it worth it.

:scared1:  I hadn't heard that ... :guilty:

... for us we do come out ahead with the APs, especially with the AP discount on the resort room. Plus even going twice a year we still save on park tix by buying the APs.

I totally agree, especially being a Florida resident. I do think their AP renewal discount is a joke.

I went back and found it. I wouldn't be cheaper because you would have to pay $12.00 to park each time you come back...and that would add up very quickly. With this pass, I don't pay for self parking.

OK I didnt think about that!!

OK...you guys have gotten to me. I could not control myself when it came to lunch today. Since so many of you take pictures of your food, I thought I would share what I had today at Sea World. It was only $13.66 with the AP discount! The sandwich was delicious but the potato salad was to die for!

You can look at it as as more sunshine or 1hr less of sleep!!

Long day today. Mother woke me up at 9 calling to remind me of something, watched half of The Elephant Man, rehearsal from 1-6, then went to my friend Hal's house and we played Scene It and Balderdash...and I won both games.

Morning all! I hope everyone changed their clocks last night! The only one I haven't changed is the one in the car. :thumbsup2
