Warm and rainy here, too. But way better than snow any day.

Finished the taxes and thanks to having kids, we should get some money back. I'll try to remember to thank them for being alive when they come home.;)

Question time from mac:

is that your house where the pics were taken?
you have my couch! did you get it from Steinhaufer's in wisconsin?
why are all the girls barefooted in the picture?
how much rain today?
we are due a couple of inches tomorrow and the floods will start here then.
I wanna be just like marcie.........

and, everyone looks so lovely in the pictures. i like how your boys color coordinate with the gfs.

Okay - first, not my house! All my sons have rich friends with nice big houses to host these things at! Really, I learned early that it seems to be a girl thing. Boys just don't host the pre or post parties. They're by the girls for the girls, and the boys just tag along and do what they're told! :rotfl:

Same goes for outfits. The girls decide what they're wearing and then go out with the boys and pick out their clothes for them. "Here, buy this tie". Makes it much easier on the moms (and much cheaper than the dresses I'm sure!).

No more rain and floods, it's all frozen over now and not supposed to be above freezing today. But since I complained about the record we set (with too much snow in December), I should mention yesterday's. We broke the record high by 5 DEGREES! Got to 50 here and the record was 45. No wonder it feels like spring! Although not as much any more!

I think all the girls are barefooted just because everyone took their shoes off when they came in since it was cold and snowy outside. After dropping Stephen off and doing all the pics I asked him if he had his phone. He insisted he did but couldn't find it. Checked his jacket, pockets, ran out and looked in the car. Thought maybe he'd left it home, but he insisted he'd had it in the car. Did another sweep of the area and found it in a snowbank near the passenger door! :scared1: Yeah, this is his expensive, easy-to-break, iphone! Luckily it still seems to work!

Janet - I keep meaning to comment on the Zits cartoon, which now with three teenaged boys, seems to reflect our lives so much! I tried to find the one I wanted, but they're not as easy to find online as Calvin & Hobbes. We do have all the books somewhere (we actually have an entire bookcase just filled with comic books - I'll have to take a pic sometime!). Anyways, my favorite one is the one where Jeremy is heading out and the mom tells him to put sunscreen on and he insists it makes him break out. She asks him if he'd rather have a few zits now or skin cancer when he's 50, and he replies "50?! Who on earth would want to live to be 50!?" :rotfl2: Yeah, that's my kids!

We are going to be there 10/20 thru 10/25. We will probably be doing HHN on 10/21 or 10/22.

After once again getting a phone call from school about my son's disrespect for authority, I sorta forgot the whole thing about thanking him for being alive. Go figure.:)

That's what we did last year ... :confused3

i discovered this year that the black-light mini lights i string all thru yard & on arbor u enter said yard magically turned red @ Xmas when interspersed with other lights:thumbsup2

he shows promise:goodvibes probably will wind up working in law enforcement ala my son

marci - said son, jeremy; gets razzed so much over that cartoon...creator must be a bug on the wall here lol. I especially like it when the mom is talking away & u see blah-blah-blah coming out the other ear

Taxes:
I messed up. I now have to pay back part of my refund due to a 1099 coming in AFTER I filed already. D'oh! :headache:

Really not your fault as all forms should have been in to you by end of Jan. I keep worrying about that, too.
