i'm so blonde at times, i kill myself. :lmao:

Damages is on wednesdays, not tuesdays.
last night was the encore.

Morning all

No work again well it is good and bad there ... no work no pay but good news is the kids all had school and I am home alone..YEAH

the roads here are pretty bad in spots it was a little :scared: scary there in the early morning but it seems to be getting alittle better now . After the 5.5 inches of snow I am so done with winter and looking for this kind of weather :beach: .

DH and DS are making me nutty over vacation choices ..Guess where they want to go ... hint there is a BIG 6 foot mouse there ...:rotfl: .. Ok now us girls in the house want to do something different and go to South carolina to the beach and then to Bush Gardens in VA. So I am thinking this is going to be a LONG decision making process for our family ..

got to go back to the supermarkets again today ... there never seems to be enough food for my kids in this house I think they are feeding some kind of monster somewhere there in NO way they can eat this much is there ??:confused3

BBL

Morning Homies

Dave, I hope you are recovering quickly. I am sorry I did not get to post to you sooner. You truly are a wonderful human being. Extremely brave, too.

d4est - see the ticker is getting closer :cool1: all packed yet? just go buy new undies and socks.......then you could be all done!!

Happy Hump Day!! Its also a snow day here. Second time in 7 days :scared: We usually NEVER have a snow day. Eh, that's ok.....the kids will have fun I am sure.

Was watching the news this morning and we (PHL Airport records) have not had this much snow since February of 2006. We got about 8 or 9 inches. Now, if I had a snow shovel instead of a stinking garden shovel, I could move this stuff faster :scratchin Maybe our neighbor left his out when he went to work :tiptoe: May have to borrow it!! Luckily our neighbor and his wife our mine and DH's BFF from childhood :rotfl2:

Hope everyone has a great day! Only two more working days til the weekend :hyper:

Well...I'm off to bed. Time to watch TiVo'ed Fringe. Sleep well, Homies!

how did you like Fringe?

I'll play go fish with you, Mac. I decided to stay at Disney, mainly for the meal plan since I literally have never eaten at any TS place there. And then with the early EMH then hopping midday, I should be able to get uber-Disney'd, then I can go to US/IOA like my last full day (Monday). Well......until I start thinking about it and change my mind again.

Andy, have you changed your mind yet?
I bet disney will be crowded as the new deal came out for families.
they want to fill all the rooms.

Fringe was awesome, I watched it starting at 9:25 on the DVR, no commercials for me!!

That good of a show, Mike?
I missed it.
my brain was not working last night.
dang!

:rotfl2: As do I Mac ... and I think I have some that you don't ;) .. we could have a lot of fun :scratchin

great!
we'll be a team like peanut butter and jelly,
like toast and jam, like mutt and jeff......:rotfl:

Good morning!

Metro, I don't get up at 5, but the alarm does go off then. I roll out at 5:20, after one tap of the snooze!

Good. I need at least 5 wake up calls some mornings.
You are hired.
When can your service of wake up calls begin for me?

Good morning homies
By the way I have been up since 4:30 am cause had to take DW to work due to slick roads :scared:

take care on the roads!
i heard it is still a big mess down there.

This morning I woke up at 4:30 but got up around 5am. I'm usually gone by 6am.

ok, Metro.
I think you win the contest of early getter uppers here.
you can be back up for my wake up service...

do you ever get tired and want to take a nap around noontime?

Homies, i'm off for the morning.
i have to get an injection.
i feel like a dog going to the vet for a shot.....

coastermom mary: enjoy the day. watch tv all day long and hit the computer a few times to give us a heads up on how much fun it is to be home without kids for a day.

my 7th grade english teacher would be rolling in her grave over that sentence i just wrote....

tlinus: we love you so much we wanted to share our snow with you.
what are friends for?

man, i hate it when homies sneak in and i miss them while i'm busy composing here.......

but, problem solved and got the homies hi 'ya's in.....:goodvibes

All the freaking time! I used to take a nap when I got home but decided not to since I can't sleep at night when I do that. :headache:

It was 12 degrees when we woke up this morning. We got a few flurries, but that was it. Damn that weatherman and his dartboard.

It is supposed to be in the 60s by the weekend. Gotta love Georgia in the winter.

Not even a school delay here :sad2: We got an inch IF THAT!! ...and, we're only about an hour apart...go figure! :rotfl: For ONCE, it finally pays to be north and west of that city :goodvibes I just finished using a broom to sweep the snow off our driveway...wanna borrow my shovel?? I think Accu-Weather dropped the ball on this one for you guys... :sad2:

Guess that moisture still doesn't understand to hook up w/ the cold air? I feel for the boys...know how much they love the snow. (send 'em to Tracie's...she's got plenty! :p ) I'd take GA in the winter...at least you don't have to shovel or have daily temps below freezing. Look on the bright side...the french toast frenzy is over :teeth:

Hey to miss Mac and everyone :wave2: Busy busy here....off to run errands... :crazy2:

Enjoy yer humpin day!

For when you get back :)

Or anyone else who wants to answer. Say we do get a chance to make HHN this year but may not be able to do all of the "extra" stuff. I know a night getting all skeerd is a must, but what else should we try our best not to miss out on?

This is just all a "what if" for now and I'm thinking about keeping it all secret IF it happens at all.

I always get the Frequent Fear Pass since I live here and usually go a lot. We will probably have DIS meets on nights when people are going to be in town...like we did last year. I haven't done the RIP Tour do to finances but I would like to do it this year if at all possible. Mac and I can tell you all kinds of things about HHN. This will be my sixth year and her eighth I believe...so we know a lot. ;)

subject to the cancellation period;) , i had forgotten than it's so early for WDTCo pkgs, i need to cough up rest of dough by mid May for mine

don't stress with ur decision, both parks will be around for along time:goodvibes

bony - clasp will do the trick, forgot to ask, where did u find this great selection of camera bags?

sorry to hear of the lousy weather for tracie & tricia. it's snowing here, supposed to dip to 8 degrees tonight, yet reach 50 degrees on Saturday:confused3 ...course this is from same weatherman who said we had good chance of getting 2 feet of snow on monday too:upsidedow

mac - did u see they extended the buy 4 get 3 thru mid August...maybe they'll keep the ball rolling for ur dates?pixiedust:

Sharky - our 1st ever HHN last year-amazing!

cannot:
* believe vacation dates didn't work out this year & i won't be there:sad:

* imagine bothering with it w/o the Pass, i've never seen such lines in all my life for anything. Even w/the Pass, without Todd's gracious help as tourguide, we never would've gotten to see everything...1st timers def. need a strategy

anybody else find idol bit of a snooze last night?

take care on the roads!
i heard it is still a big mess down there.

Yes the roads are still a mess but suppose to be back in the 50s this weekend so just have to hang in there for the next day or so
MIL is mad at me cause I wouldn't run her downtown yesterday to the bank and to pay her bills due to how bad it was and for the first half of day yesterday they had 41 accidents:scared:

I doubt we'll make the RIP this year, we were looking forward to that for next year, but I would like more information on the Frequent Fear Pass. Would that benefit us if we're staying only a week? IF we are able to make it this year, our dates would be mid to late October, due to the kids school break. I know Babboo and I would make a tour one night by ourselves and one night with the kids, but we'd love to meet up with some of you guys too!

You mean you don't nap under your desk like George Costanza did on Seinfeld?? :confused3
where did u find this great selection of camera bags?
The lady that makes them lets you choose your own fabric from equilter.com - so you have limitless possibilities :thumbsup2

when you say extra stuff, are you talking about doing tours or certain portions of HHN?

for a newbie, the general inexclusive tour of 4 hours would be good.
that one last year was $120 pp and discounted if you have the AP.

at hhn, do not miss Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
do all the houses, twice if you can.
there are 2 teams of scareactors for the houses and streets.
Team A and Team B.

i always time it so i can see both Teams in action.
the scareactors either make or break the houses for me a lot of the times.

metro is right.
the express pass is great on busy nights.
the frequent fear pass is great and cheaper if you do 3 non peak nights.

last year there was an error on the hhn ticket price site.
i bought the FFP the day the site went up.
i think within 48 hours the error was caught and the price for the FFP increased. i was not charged the additional cost for that.

also, last year the Friday of the columbus day weekend had tickets drop to the non peak night. I was able to use my FFP on that night and get a refund on the higher price admission HHN ticket as i purchased all tickets prior to going.

This will be my 9th year.
i started doing HHN in 2000.

i am penciling you in Metro for the tour.......i hope your finances works out and you will be with us. you were missed last year on it.

yes, we love meets!

anybody else find idol bit of a snooze last night?

that promo wouldn't be one for me.
i did the bounce back promo and booked while still on last years vacation at the motherland.

since i go solo, the free dining is more of a savings for me.
the tickets are the killer there. i use UT and get them cheaper than disney's selling cost.

i thought idol moved slow but the producers said for this year, they are going to do more clips and info on the performers real life.

if you will be at 3 nights that are valid on the FFP, and if the passes are the price they were last year, you would come out ahead buying them.
non peak nights that are included are wed, thur, sun.

you would take the kids to hhn?
even the 4 year old?

i have no comment.

well, back from the mean doctor appointment and i am living to tell the story.......:crazy2:

2 more weeks of injections for me.
i feel like a dog going for a series of shots.......

I wish I would've gotten a shot--I'm begging you to share Mac.

I had xrays taken over 4 wks ago and still no phone call from dr.

I've been sucking it up since we got back from Universal on Jan 2 with pain radiating from my neck down to fingertips with tingling involved and weakness.

Finally sucked it up today (I hate to go to the drs) and went to a chiropractor. He did some more x-rays and exam. Guess what? cervical strain.

Do you think it was DD about 5x in a row then running over to the Hulk (6x)or maybe it was my husbands driving on the way down:rotfl2: :rotfl2: now that's a nail biter.:drive:

Problem is now my primary wants me to go to PT and the chiro, but I'm thinking you never called me in over a month to tell me the problem, I should get to pick where I want.:confused3

LOL It's ok, comment away! But I will be honest with you, my wee one has been going to haunted houses and haunt "gatherings" since he was just a few months old. You see... we're a part of a Haunted House family. IOW, our friends either build haunted houses, host them, or are scareactors in them. This includes my oldest DS who will be in his first this October. We even have a local gathering complete with make up artists, prop builders, and just about any Halloween 'how to' you could think of. So for my kids, Halloween and haunted houses are an every day thing. My little zombie lovers make me proud!

:rotfl2: you'll fit in just fine with us

... our anniversary is Oct 31st and we always make HHN a part of our annual anniversary trip to Orlando in early to mid-October. We have a yard haunt on Oct 31 and you should see our basement ... wall to wall "friends" :rotfl: We live Halloween 365 days a year at our house!

sharky, HHN does not have any child priced tickets.
if you take the little, you have to pay the adult fare for the ticket.

If i am aware that a homie has definitely made up their mind on doing something that i wouldn't do, then i say nothing.
I would never intentionally make comments that could be taken as insulting or offending to anyone.

the only thing i will say is leave the stroller in the hotel room.
HHN can get very crowded especially in the lines for the houses. A stroller might not be as easy to use as it would in the daytime.
if you use a stroller going thru the houses, someone could by accident take a step back and fall into or end up pushing the stroller, with the child in it.

most of the lines going thru the houses are commonly referred to as the "congo line"

I used a wheelchair last year on one night.
i walked thru the houses as it was a lot easier/smoother than sit in the chair going thru the houses.
