Wow!! I said a week or two ago then I was back for good, but had a lot of family crisis' happen :guilty:

First my greatgrandmother-in-law is now considered legally blind

My son has just had the worse week of his life so far. His girlfriend brokeup with him because he was too serious about her, but they were both deeply in love with one another:confused3. He also got kicked off of Varsity Track for being late to their first meeting(He was trying to fix things with the GF), but still he has to suck up to the coaches now to get his spot back. on varsity. He's already getting some offers from Division I schools.

But that is just a portion of what has happened.

Homies I need some help:grouphug:

 and loads of mummy dust being sent to you.

when something awful happens to your family members, you grieve as much as if it happened to you.
i totally understand where you are coming from.

your ggrandma in law, is she elderly, meaning over 90?
maybe she has some ability to see shadows.
not that it is any consolation but maybe she will be able to kind of "know" her way around her place.

hopefully, she is dealing with this the best she can.

that has to be awful to lose one's eyesight.
i can not imagine it.

sorry that your son lost 2 precious items in his life. the girl and his varsity spot on the track team.
with his talent, let's hope that the coaches realize they need him and he is back on the team.

about the girlfriend, what can i say......
my boys have gone thru that before and it hurts the entire family too.

just remember when a door is closed, a window is opened later.

i'm glad you stopped to be with us. :wave2:
hopefully, each day will be easier for you as time goes by.

many homies have real life things happen and they can't always drop by.
everyone here understands that.

when i count noses at the end of the month, i'll be aware if yours is not here.

do stick around for awhile.
we'll let you have the big comfy easy chair next time here...

Good evening everyone! I went over to Universal for a while today and it was great! The parks were pretty slow and nothing had more than a 30 min wait except for the P-Flyers...but there's always a long wait. I took some great pictures of the HR3 construction but there really isn't anything new to report on HP.

:grouphug: I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother, bless her heart I can't imagine how frightening that is for her and heartbreaking for you (her family) :sad1:

I haven't really had to deal with the broken hearts yet, accept from my own experience as a teen, so I know how devastating it is for your son right now. I'm sure he has a great support group at home and wonderful friends and will bounce back in no time. Good luck to him on getting back on the team, honestly, he deserves a second chance for such a small infraction!

Sounds like you need a hug!! :grouphug:

You know they say it can only get better from here!!! Hang in there, sending you warm thoughts!! pixiedust:

Every Homie.....Thank you:). My sons week was mostly his fault espicially with track. He just walked out on the team after they moved him:confused3 , so we had a nice conversation with him about that.

Found out some good news around 4 today......Garrison(Son going through all of this) is now being looked at by Texas A&M. And his GF apologized to him and they are now on a "break", because she is really stressed out with Drill Team right now(she's a dancer) so that was good to hear. I'll post a pic of the two of them tomorrow.

Donald HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

i bet garrison is thrilled with Texas A & M !

and better news about his chick.

hang in there.
teen years are very hard for parents to live through.

Christmas08030.jpg

This is a view from the castle.
The large hill in the distance is Arthurs seat,it is a Sleeping volcano right in the middle if the city !!

Christmas08032.jpg

Christmas08029.jpg

This is The Royal mile.
It is a mile long cobbled street with beautiful old buildings which goes from The castle to Holyrood Palace. The Palace is the Queens official residence when ever she is in Edinburgh.

Christmas08036.jpg

And here my favourite...The boy with William Wallace.. :rotfl2:

Christmas08035.jpg

The tourists love this stuff !!

I live about 15 miles south in a wee place called Bonnyrigg.

It was originally a mining village.

It has grown massively over the years and lots of city folks have moved out here and commute.

It still has its country feel tho and a 5 mins walk from my house is this little beauty...Dalhousie Castle
