" Its a wonderful life " on the big screen on Christmas eve, I doesnt get much better than that.

It is my favourite film EVER (remind me sometime to tell youse about my last years birthday pressie ) and our local film house was showing it today.

I took the boy,my mum and my nephew and it was just amazing.

The boys loved it.

My nephew said it was his best ever cinema experience...I had to laugh...he only 8 !!


Well its 1am at my bit.

Just finished wrapping pressies...only took 3 hours !!

So I'm off to bed because Santa has been to Scotland (time diif can be kinda cool ) and the boy will be up in 5 hours...approx !!

Who am i trying to kid....Im soooo excited if hes not awake early Ill be banging doors !!

Hi guys! Quick flyby! Suddenly realized it's 9:30 on Christmas Eve!

Yeah, that's what happens when you do the 6:30 mass instead of the 4:00 like usual.

Sigh - it's Christmas Eve and it's still been one of those days.

1. We were playing a game earlier and I managed to knock over an entire glass of lemonade. Sticky mess.

2. We went out to lunch and I managed to knock over an entire glass of Pepsi. Sticky mess.

3. Getting ready for church and Matt grabs the banister coming down from upstairs and it comes off the wall. No, it didn't pull out from the wall, nor did the wood break. The piece of metal that holds the banister up snapped in half! Of course this was after all the hardware stores closed for the day, so we now have it attached on one end and hanging halfway across the doorway to DH and my room upstairs.

4. Packing stuff in the basement for skiing, I knocked a can of spray lubricant off where Eric had set it on a box (he uses it for his Rubik's cubes). It hit the ground and basically exploded, spraying lube all over the place. Ran it upstairs and got it in the trash, but not before leaving a trail of lube. So...

5. Stephen just ran into the kitchen, carrying a full glass of lemonade. Hit a slippery (lubed) spot and completely wiped out, sending a chair flying, and of course the lemonade and ice all over the place. Yeah, you guessed it. Sticky mess. Maybe it'll cancel out the lube at least?!

Does it sound like I should just go curl up in bed? I managed to break the copier and my computer at work on Monday too. Maybe I'm just hopeless!


Okay, on a more positive note, I want to wish everyone a happy Christmas Eve before we head over to do presents. I should be around tomorrow at least. Mac, as far as the ornament exchange, I won't be here Saturday for a chat. We're heading out skiing for the weekend on Friday, and should be back Sunday night.

Incidentally, for those of you wondering, we did make it skiing last Sunday. Drove from the 6 inches of snow here up into the 15 inches there VERRYY slowly at times, in the dark, but made it safely. Once we got there it was fine. Great deals - 7 people's lift tickets for $55 total, we got free tubing, free NASTAR (ski racing), and free mac & cheese. The weather was fine (yeah, about -15 but we were dressed for it so it didn't feel cold). I snowboarded all day because the conditions were really nice, the girlfriends had a lot of fun, and it was a great day overall.

I have successfully Santa-ed and everyone is asleep but me. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning. You only get a few years where Christmas morning is that wonderful "little kid" magic time. I'm going to store away all the memories I can.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. If you are with a loved one, make sure you tell them you love them. If you aren't, call them and tell them anyway.

Life's too short people. Make the most of it.

Well finished opening gifts around 8:30 this morning...

Probably going to get Chinese food for lunch/dinner (I know, we are so traditional )

I got the Cricut!!! Its a scrap booking tool that I'm going to use to make my wedding invitations.
