It's not in theatres until next week

My bad,I thought it was already showing..

The price of movies nowadays is crazy..Mattinaes are $7 per person down here.Factor in the big bucket of popcorn(with ALOT of butter)and A drink,it cost us almost $40..And its A old theatre!!

evening all

My 80's party was tonight and we are not going . The weather is really bad and a drive from Staten Island to Long Island in this weather is just not too safe. Oh well I just hope my cousin understands I am sure she will .

Last night we went to a dinner with my DH union . It was a a BIG wedding hall out in Queens NY . It is on the bay and a very nice place BUT the food has made me all day today .This is the second time I have gone and not felt too good the next day . You know things are bad when you take a nap on a Saturday afternoon with three kids home. MY DH is a little worried I am still tired and not feeling good . I have a HUGE and my tummy hurts. I am sitting here relaxing but am tired.

It is snowing and we are suppose to get 1-3 inches . Which for some of you guys is nothing but for us on Staten Island it is huge . We are the forgotten part of NYC and I havent seen a plow or salt truck all day near my house.


Going to get some reserch done on Buzz Aldrin for my DS for a book report .

Yep ... welcome to Winter alright!!! We've actually been fortunate this winter ... only get a few inches at a time. The west coast (Vancouver) and Ontario seem to be getting the major snowfalls this year

We are strting to get our basement finished......dust, dust and more dust!!! I can't wait until we do the drywall!!

Crappy time here.

I finished work on Auld years day at 2 and was in bed with a head cold by 3.

Finally out of bed last sunday only to collapse in the afternoon with stomach pain...

Taken to hospital.

5 cm Cyst on my ovary got infected and burst.
Never had pain like it...including child birth !!

Just got out on Friday.

Pain has eased but the antibiotics have me throwing up.

Any ways that my excuse for not postin my Edinburgh photos but I will once I can sit for more that 5mins without barfing !!

Hope youse are all well.

i was really wondering where you were.
i'm so sorry you went through all that pain and sounds like you still are in pain....

if i lived closer to you, i'd bring you some chicken soup.
it's supposed to make you feel better.

youse just sit and lay down and relax and heal.
plenty of time later for pictures.
i hope you have your mum to help out with the boy so you don't have to worry about him.

it's 12 degrees here right now.
snow of 7 inches on friday with the 13 inches from yesterday make big snow piles around the driveway. 2 more storms coming thru on monday and tuesday. how lucky can we get.....

i vote for having hurricanes over the snow here.
i safely say that as we have a basement.......
i hope you don't get any hurricanes. i know how bad it can get and wish you sunshine and lollipops all the days long!

i shouldn't complain about the weather. i keep thinking of the people in louisiana that lost everything and the city during their destructive weather a few years back. what we have here is nothing in comparison.

i'm just tired to being penned inside the house and the shoveling i have started to do for the driveway.

i would take a trip to orlando in a heartbeat but would never know which day the airport up here would be canceling flights out or in.
i only did one trip in january before to florida and was lucky the weather here was decent for flights.

Same here, DD15 told me last Monday she had plans to go to movies--I forgot to stop by AAA to get tickets so it ended up costing me 3.50 more at the door. $9.50 Ridiculous.
