Going to run out and pick up the cake and cupcakes for this evening's Halloween Party. I will take photos and a share.

We are having a tree cut down that was damaged from last winters ice storm. As well as some other big trees on the property trimmed. The Tree folks are here already this morning working on the Tree.

On the menu for this evening. A big pot of chili, Chicago style hotdogs, meatball hoagies, hot pretzels and cheese dip, fruit platter, veggie platter, chips and dips, Halloween punch, Halloween cake, Halloween cupcakes, Halloween cookies. I know I’am forgetting something on the menu it is on the counter in the kitchen.

Going to go and do a little on the trip report then need to get scootin.

Sounds like quite the spread, Robo, with all sounding delicious.

Think we may just order pizza to pick up, and get ready for those trick or treaters.

Lazy Friday for me, as took off due to coming home yesterday. Ugh, got a text that our flight was 45 minutes late, hours before our flight was to be. No matter, we had to return the car 2 hours before that time we should have left. Hung out at the airport, only to spend another 45 minutes in the closed plane that was still at the gate, due to the captain saying he would not get clearing to take off until then. So by the time we arrived, and circled for about 30 minutes. We arrived 2 hours late. At least our luggage was starting to be delivered as we came to the baggie area. Older one was only a few minutes late picking us up, as he was in the cell lot, just down the road. Was not raining when we arrived, nor during our drive home. The streets were pretty wet most of the roads we were on though, as older one said it rained most of the day. And lots of traffic, which we thought was kinda weird on a Thursday evening. Nothing we thought was going on in the city, as hockey game last night, but they are crappy, so we thought the traffic was not due to that game. Who knows where they were headed into and out of the city. But not complaining, as we live around an hour drive from our large, international city airport.

Kids left about two hours ago, as went on a road trip to that mall you can see NYC across the water. Me?
I took a very long shower, and started the wash. We always wash all our clothes when home. But yay, another trip on the horizon, as holiday one. So luggage will be packed again, and trip will be done before that Santa night visit.

Most Fabulous Spooky Friday to all. And yay, a Wonderful Weekend to all, and for us, enjoying another hour of sleep, as back on standard time on Sunday. Sigh, the time of year when I come and go in the dark. But a woot for this year, as will only have to do it 4 days. You see, I’m sick leaving using for the next two weeks, only going in one day to do time keeping for the 2 week period, then week day routine the three days before our Thanksgiving, as took of the day after, and will be my last day. Lazy one. Yep. Yay! Kinda fitting my last day is Black Friday. Will be happy and sad that day. But decided it was the time to retire and enjoy life hopefully a long time, before I can’t.

Hehe, can still say good morning today. Not quite noon yet, here.

Happy Halloween Friday. This is also our University's homecoming weekend. I was up early today to go pick up our homecoming T-shirts.
We don't get many trick-or-treaters and since I don't want to keep opening the door and risk Caspian getting out, we are just going to leave a bowl of candy on the porch. I think we are going to watch classic Universal monster movies tonight.

Lynne - Will you be attending Mickey's Christmas party? I hope to go to it someday along with many other events. I'm going to try to make 2027 a Disney year.

Charade, yes the Xmas party and a Jolly Night we will be attending too. Bought the tickets from Shades of Green when they first came out. Got a great deal on a one bedroom at BLT, so we are excited to see all the decor, as one of our favorite times to be in the parks. My next favorite time is with the Fruit and Arts festival. So fun to see all the art works and even meet some of the artists. And usually the weather is great during that festival time. In December, crap shoot as to temps. Most of the time, we can wear shorts most of the days, but a cold day, enough for a winter jacket and pants, can be a day or a few. So little bit more clothes to pack. Though that time of year, we are in winter clothes when we arrive at our airport. And we still pack in our backpack, shorts and a T-shirt to change into when we arrive.

We had 25. And they enjoyed our candy we got at the party we attended the other day, and brought home. Light was turned off at 8:30.

Now chilling, and with little one just asking me if we wanted to go to that huge mall tomorrow. I’m game. I think she has a pick up to do there. Then older one now just showed me clothes he wanted to order on Target, as 40 off today. Okay, ordered and had them shipped to home.

Ah, such a nice enough night it has been.

Looking like the holiday season is in swing at our huge mall:



Did our pick up, and a little shopping, with little one and I getting jackets that were marked down, and were a good deal. Was moderately busy, as we parked around lunchtime.

Kids then went to a Pokémon meet up at one of our local parks. Seems the only way to get a special character there.

Perfect Saturday, and almost wow, we are already in November now. First day of, and tomorrow, shorter day with us going on standard time at 2 am tonight. Phones and cars will be correct time, my watch and our click radio needs to be turned back an hour when we wake up. Ah, now 27 more days to go, before I can say no more predawn rides into the city, though in February, we have a predawn flight. And for the later, that’s perfectly okay to be up before the sun rise.
