Something About Nothing............ #14

Janet, hope this finds you feeling better. Sending mummy dust well wishes across our state to you.

Had a nice afternoon and dinner at my sister’s. Had Thanksgiving menu for dinner, and all were full.

Alarm set, and trash at curb.

Buckeev, oh my. But hey, trip on the horizon is the way to go. Our leaving flight just got moved up 1/2 hour earlier. Good thing I saw it, as was thinking of when we had to leave to get to the airport. I rarely change flights, but do change hotels sometimes, several times. Based on the idea I decided to stay a few more days, have to do a split stay. Don’t like doing that, but ya gotta do what ya do.

T minus 4 nights. Getting close. Yay!

Hope all have a good Sunday night.

Ah, the day of the week, that happily says, Wednesday is here. No, not her, the muster kid, it’s that middle of a week day, when we say, hello to camel:

And he’s rocking those sunglasses as I will be doing today. A little windy, 16 mph gusts, but look at this sun breaking picture I took about 15 minutes ago:

Glorious sunshine and 60 degrees the high. Tomorrow afternoon will be at 83 the high. Woot! One more sleep. Then race fun weekend. Woot! Another party with Mickey too. Woot!

Halloween Friday is coming up fast. Like next week. And yes, I will be carving my pumpkin in the late morning that day. Coming home the night before, and took that Friday off. Yay! Ready for those trick or treaters.

But today, we say, get over this hump of a day feeling day, and Friday then a day away. Yay! Never gets old, that Fabulous Friday feeling.

T minus 1 and T minus a month, then more fun and an another party to enjoy 6 weeks from now. Then in the new year, kids have 2 trips already planned, a house hunting trip in there, and Mother’s Day fun too, already planned. Will be nice to be able to not have to do that week day routine leaving and coming back to, by the end of next month. Woot! So many events in the next 7 months.

Wonderful Wednesday wish to all.

Good morning from a homie sipping tea, and at least not in a too cold office.

Another super slow day at work. Fortunately I can finally start planning the rest of our January trip. Tickets for 2026 have finally been released. My AP renews in December, B will need an AP to keep her room rate, and now dh has decided he wants an AP too. Looks like everyone will get an AP for Christmas. We have been collecting Universal gift cards for the past several months. We may have enough to pay for one of the APs. I hope they don't raise prices before the year is over.

Nice flight and now getting ready for our 2:30 alarm as race starts at 4am. Hope the bus that is supposed to be starting at 3 am is true.

Beautiful weather. And shorts for the next week. Yay!

Hope you had a good race Lynne.
A Disney content creator I follow on Facebook is planning to do a Princess race in February. She has recently lost 100 pounds and has been slowly race training.

I just booked another Universal hotel. This time for November 2026. B and I are going to do a weekend getaway for her birthday next year.

I was doing the math for the January trip and it will actually cost less for her to buy an AP and 2 Epic tickets then it would cost to get a vacation package. I figure if we both have APs then we need at least 1 more trip during the year. She doesn't know it yet, but I plan to buy the AP for her for Christmas.

Well, it's Friday, so that means laundry and house cleaning. I live such an exciting life.

I'm impressed with committed runners. I have said many times in the past six or seven years that I am going to train and run a theme park race, but I have never managed to train for more than a couple of months before losing motivation.

I have stressful things happening with my extended family, and my wonderful husband suggested a short trip after the holidays, knowing theme park planning distracts me. I will be posting here occasionally for that same reason. My plan is to squeeze in two days of the old parks after the holiday blockout and before our APs run out. We were considering a day at Epic, but apparently they won't be offering single day tickets on the day we would want to go (or they sold out in less than a day), so I think we're going to Epcot. I can't really complain because we were very lucky with weather and rides when we visited Epic in August, and we were leaning toward Epcot anyway.
